Individualized Student Portal
It would be great for students to have direct access to essential data reports. I envision for students to be able to login to NWEA and access their current MAP RIT scores in all areas, progress reports, goal setting reports, profiles reports, identified scoring guides, and diagnostic areas of improvement as an example. One of the objectives would be to illustrate the importance of understanding progress, growth, achievement and areas of recommended support. With students being able to access information directly, they may be more inclined to take ownership of their performances and increase engagement.

I feel it would be beneficial for students to have a limited access to see their data in NWEA for all subjects they MAP test for. They can set their goals, observe how much they've grown or regressed, as well as see where they rank nationally. I also think it would be beneficial for them to see other features that are included in the Student Profile, such as their strengths and weaknesses so they can focus on what to improve before the next test. This would take some stress of the teacher and limit the amount of pages that need to be printed for each student to see all their information.

This type of report is essential for integrating NWEA data into intentional classroom planning. Students are regularly required and encouraged to set academic goals for themselves and being able to include a comprehensive breakdown of their NWEA scores in that goal setting by drawing parallels between those scores and the ones they are earning for standards in class would go a long way in improving the value of that data to our students and staff.

I cannot stress how important this feature would be. I think NWEA agrees that it's important for students to understand and take ownership of their data. The first step in that process is giving students access to that data. I specifically, and our school, would like for students to be able to access their NWEA reports so that they could see which standards are listed as DEVELOP, REINFORCE, and INTRODUCE. The batch report option that is currently available does not allow you to filter for grade-level standards, resulting in over 600 pages for just one of my classes. There have to be more filters available for grade-level standards when doing a batch report (I suppose that's a separate recommendation though)

I would like to see a way for individual students to be able to log in to access their student profile report.
