Have a bank of DEMO Data that consists of all subjects that can be used during summer PD for teachers when school district data is not available. That way teachers can get in and get hands-on with actual data to see which reports will be most beneficial for driving both Tier 1 and small group instruction in their classrooms. Just watching videos on the NWEA website, or looking at pictures of the different kinds of reports, is not enough for teachers to get good at using the multitude of ways that NWEA can be of use to them in their classrooms. That is NOT how we want our own students to learn, so let's not expect our very own teachers to learn that same way.
