Student Progress Report
We love the Student Progress Report to share with families and that is has all of a student's results they have over the years with %iles. We print these and send home to families in K-5 and share the PDF 6th grade and up. This same data in not included in the Family Report. It is also helpful these can be produced in grade level batches by building.

The Student Progress Report data is the most critical data report that we use as school psychologists. It is a user friendly report that details growth on academic functioning over time, including percentiles, growth over the course of the year, etc. Without this report, this data would be hard to access. Please keep this!!!!!!!!

Please keep this report. It is my go to when screening for a special education evaluation. It is vital to the School Psychologist of any school system. The national percentiles align so nicely with the assessment tools I use.

I have been a MAP user for 10+ years. This is the #1 report that I use to allow for quick and efficient information regarding progress over time, as well as comparison to local and national peers. Please consider keeping this report.

The student progress report is essential for multiple reasons including:
1. It is a comprehensive summary of their progress over time. It would take significant amounts of time to locate this information through other reports.
2. It is a quick snapshot that allows you to view data and locate patterns - essentially important when considering special education evaluations
3. It is an essential tool for schools when students move districts. This information does not follow them to the new district and it is invaluable to have some background information on the student from the previous district.
4. Parents seem to have an easier time understanding their child's trends in performance and their performance in comparison to others in the district and nationally when it is presented this way compared to other report options. -

Please preserve the following information from the to be retired Student Progress on the "replacement" Student Profile.
1. A line showing the district grade-level mean RIT score. On the Student Profile only the national average is available. Compared to the Student Progress Report where you can visually compare the student RIT score to both in the bar graph.
2. The percentile range each time assessed. On the current Student Progress Report this is shown in a clear helpful table for recent time points. On the Student Profile only the RIT score is shown in the graph. To understand the meaning of a RIT score and the level of student need for SST and Special Education evaluations - having this available in one report is incredibly helpful. Please don't lose that by retiring the Student Progress Report and not replacing with a way to see that information.
