You need to have the ability to have two distinct windows within a term. We have one testing window for Elementary and Middle and another for the high schools. Since there is only one window, it is lengthy enough to encompass both. However, in order to get a Projected Proficiency report, student growth summary report, and the district summary report, the window has to be closed. If I close the window, then the high schools cannot test. If I close the window to generate reports, and then open it again for high schools to test, the reports are no longer available to elementary and middle. The only option is to leave the window open, and that means elementary and middle have to wait an extra two weeks for access to their data, which really impacts using the data for instruction and timely reporting of testing data to executive leadership.
