Please add 99th percentile back into norms chart
Thank you for making the norms chart much easier to read. The 99th percentile, however, is very helpful for gifted services coordinators and administrators to have access to.
For frame of reference, in many schools, a student scoring in the 95th percentile may qualify for gifted services. Scores around that often count on a rubric for identification.
A score in the 99th percentile, however, can mean a student is near the 95th-98th percentile or is many years above grade level. Knowing the cutoff can help in making decisions for grade level placement.
Also, many students in the 99th percentile test poorly due to test anxiety or distractions in one session, so their goals need to be adjusted to something that would be comparable to past percentile rankings. To some, giving a goal a few points above the 95th is fine, but to others it is not. Having it in the norms report will not make it much longer, but it could impact many students around the country.
