Determining Lexile Levels
Students are given different lexile levels to read in the Reading Fluency Test, they are able to read these passages with 80 to 100% comprehension, but are then given a lexile level significantly lower than what they were able to comprehend reading due to not being a fast reader. I would like to see a more adaptive fluency test where it takes comprehension scores into account when given a lexile level.

Fluency assessment problems
Hello,
I have been having problems with the Fluency program booting me out. So, I have to log in multiple times while they are taking the test. I then noticed that when this happened, my students had problems with their assessment. As long as I kept moving my mouse to keep the program on, my students would be able to take their assessment without issue.1 vote -
playback feature worked, but not for every student
Ohio Connections Academy: We found that the playback feature worked, but not for every student. There were many instances that the microphone did not pick up the student's voice with enough clarity to accurately complete the hand scoring and often teachers were completing an additional 1:1 reading diagnostic to get a better understand of the student's reading levels.
The teachers loved the reporting aspect of the reading fluency and the breakdown of the foundation skills, however for most students, teachers were completing the reading fluency benchmark along with another 1:1 reading diagnostic to fully understand the student's reading level.

Change the program
I have watched several students make mistakes because the program doesn't pause and let students see their final response. There should be an enter button to make sure their answer is the one they want. It also just scrolls over answer choices too easily and students accidentally change their answers because the answer isn't "locked".

Reading Fluency ability to work with mic
In the Reading fluency, ew have several devices in which the app gets stuck and something we have never been able to manage is for the device to hear the students saying "i am ready" at the beginning no matter how loud they speak. We usually endup unplugging the headphone and speaking directly into the iPad's mic.
Does anybody else have these repeated issues?3 votes -
iPads for Administration Use
Our teachers use iPads for administering assessments in classrooms. Currently, MAP Reading Fluency cannot be administered on iPads and reports cannot be accessed/viewed on iPads. This limits how and where we can administer assessments and share/talk about our data.

make button movable
Please allow the 'provide feedback' blue rectangle button to me movable on the right margin. It's right in the way of many clicks needed to get to data or see important data.

MAP Login
It would be nice if the login for students was in the same area that they use to access the MAP reading and math assessments.
I also wish that the reading fluency allowed you to see students progress like the other MAP assessments.

The term rollover and auto-assigning the next benchmark interrupts progress monitoring in our large district. Please turn this off!
You can rollover the new benchmark expectations without auto-assigning the tests on your end. Auto-assigning also isn't helpful when you don't do Adaptive Oral Reading in Kindergarten due to state-wide requirements to use dyslexia screener. Please let districts assign themselves!

Be able to exclude tests from MAP Reading Fluency like we can in MAP Growth
As a district data administrator, I would like the ability to exclude a test from MAP Reading Fluency like we can with MAP Growth. For times like dyslexia screening, when the wrong students takes the test under the wrong name, I need to be able to remove exclude that test

Confusing site!
The new layout of this site is confusing and not user friendly! The news articles shouldn't be the first thing you see once logged in; it should be all the components of MAP Growth and Fluency. So unnecessarily confusing!

Unassign a test
Admins should have the ability to unassign tests or progress monitoring that have been assigned.

Test type on proctor dashboard
Please list which test is in progress on the proctor dashboard. When giving the dyslexia screener only, I had to start a student over. The system then defaulted to Adaptive Oral Reading and I didn't realize it because the test being taken is not listed with the student names for those currently in a test.

Limit which tests can be administered by grade, similar to MAP Growth
To limit teachers from choosing the wrong tests for students for the required tests Missouri requires by grade level, please allow the tests on the Reading Fluency side to be similar to manage as those on the MAP Growth side, where I can change by grade which tests are available for teachers to choose.

Allow admin users to see teacher's view
For those of us who train teachers and/or help trouble-shoot when teachers are having issues, it would be great if there was a way for admin users to select a teacher and then be able to "impersonate" or login as that teacher to see what they see. It would help me in providing teachers with instructions on how to fix their issues. Thanks!

Test Season - Progress Monitoring is auto-assigned
MAP RF auto assigns a benchmark once you cross into a new test season (eg., Spring is on March 1st). Our schools don't want to benchmark test until closer to the end of the school year -- May.
Can we assign the terms? We like auto-assigning (making teachers' lives easier).
Current configuration is adding time to teachers because they have to go back and change the test to progress monitoring.

When looking at the "modify preference" tab, there is no indicator that these changes can only be made to MAP Growth.
When looking at the "Modify Preferences" tab, there is no indicator that the modifications being made are only being made to MAP Growth. As a school, we wanted to determine testing dates for MAP Fluency and thought we could create our own testing dates. Even in the instructions, there is no mention of MAP Growth vs. MAP Fluency. This would have been exceedingly helpful as we began testing during "our window" and fluency scores weren't available for our "Winter Term" as the default window had not yet begun.

Deleting Benchmark and Progress Monitoring Scores
We need access to delete Benchmark and Progress Monitoring scores. Sometimes students accidentally sign on as the wrong person.
