  1. Please notify your users IN ADVANCE for upcoming maintenance not only on the status page but also the connection page specifically for Maintenance Time: https://connection.nwea.org/s/system-maintenance-windows?language=en_US

It is not helpful at all inserting a not-in-time (have to refresh to check the latest update) log in notification for an upcoming maintenance time within several hours. It is very difficult for schools to reschedule everyone with the last-minute notice. Especially international schools that are not in the PDT time zone.

It is particularly not helpful if everyone will have to wait till the admin sees the notice and react to it. Please send…

  2. It is too much detail and work for teachers to create test sessions and assign the right tests, etc. It is actually quite difficult to get some teachers to create test sessions with the correct students, accomodations and tests, and leaves a lot of room for error. Test Coordinators need to be able to create test sessions and assign them straight to proctors so they see it as a saved session with they login to their proctor account. Please enable this feature.

  3. Test Coordinators need to be able to set accomodations for each student in learning support. It is really difficult that teachers (proctors) have to set accommodations, and leave a lot of room for error. Some of our students are not receiving the accommodations they are entitled to, because teachers simply forget to assign them. This should be rectified- admin should be able to set accommodations that STICK with the student in any test session, for each subject according to their learning support plan. It is too much detail and labor for teachers to do so.

  4. Testing Coordinators and admin NEED a testing dashboard that shows all classes, all proctors, all students, all tests, all progress, all accommodations set, all terminated sessions, all rapid guessing, all completed tests for a specific testing season.
It is imperative this is developed. It is so difficult to manage a school of testing, when there is no easy way to see how students are progressing. We have to rely on a spreadsheet teachers update, but they often forget to update, and it is very difficult to figure out with many students, many sessions going, and it creates delays (24 hours,…

  5. When a nightly roster data import from Classlink fails to post, generate an email notification to the district administrators making them aware of the failure. I just happened to be in NWEA investigating an unrelated issue and noticed that our nightly sync from Classlink had a "cancelled" status each night for over a month due to a new program code being added by the student information system administrator. I had no idea that new students were not being added to NWEA for all that time. I am told that such notifications happen for Clever districts, but that it isn't set…

  6. It is currently a very cumbersome process to re-import our setup every term. It should not be difficult to permit rollover from previous terms, and allow individual students to be excluded from the process.

  7. As a consultant who works with multiple charter schools, I currently have to provide a separate email address to each school in order to establish a MAP account to access reports, etc. Please provide an option to assign multiple districts to one email address, then have the user select the district they want to access when they log in. Other sites like Panorama, WASC portal, etc. provide this functionality.

  8. Hi, so we are currently sharing family reports for the first time, after testing out MAP Growth the past couple of years. At the moment the only way to do this on MAP Growth is to click each student and individually exclude tests from their reports. As we are quite a large school we are having to do this over a thousand students. This is quite a laborious process. It would be great if there was a bulk option to exclude tests from reports.

  9. Create a report or dashboard that will provide you with the participation rate for a certain period of time. For example, I want to see the percentage of my students who set for MAP testing within the first week of the window.
Create a dashboard that will show the percentage of the invalid test, rapid guessing, and test timing.

  10. Customize a User Role

I am the District Admin and want my principals to be able to access operational reports, but do not want to make them the school assessment coordinator because I do not want them to be able to manage users.

  11. As a District Test Administrator, I would like a report that shows all students in my district with terminated tests. Students are accidentally terminated and then not able to get into a test session due to our district restriction on the number of tests allowed in a testing window. This data is crucial and it causes frustration on the school side when they are unable to easily test all students. I would have the ability to troubleshoot these issues before they become an obstacle if there was a report showing this status available.

  12. School Test Administrators should be able to create test sessions that the school proctors can access. This is possible for District Test Administrators, but it would be a more functional option if added to the School Test Administrators as well.

  13. I have been asked to write to you by my technology department to request that you try to expand the range of Mac operating systems that your secure browser will operate on in a given year.

We are a Mac school. From grade 5, our students buy their own Mac. In grades 1 to 4, the school has a bank of Mac computers that are available for classes to use. As a school, we cannot afford to be constantly replacing the Macs that we have in the school. Some of the Macs we use in school are 6 or 7…

  14. NWEA needs to build additional integrations for authentication and user provisioning into NWEA MAP Growth. Currently the only two options for SSO are Clever and Classlink. However a system with as sensitive of data as NWEA, there needs to be configuration for a fully fledged IdP such as Okta. Ideally this configuration would be via OIDC and also support user provisioning via SCIM. Currently all user account creation is managed manually, which can leave behind stale user accounts that pose security risks. Further, there is no native way within NWEA's user management portal to enforce MFA. If NWEA were to…

  15. Last year, I was able to do a search for students who had not yet completed testing and see which question number they were on. This information helped me determine how much time to set aside for students, how to group them, etc. in order to give them additional time to complete their testing. Please bring this feature back! I had to call tech support and go through my students one by one in order to get this data.

  16. The requirement for Kiosk mode on chromebooks seems excessive. With a large number of students, paying a monthly fee for kiosk mode on top of the NWEA fee adds up to quite a lot for something that is only used 2-3x per year.

  17. I understand that NWEA uses adaptive testing for the question pool. But I was wondering if a program could be designed to pool some questions to a server or workstation, and then the student could still retrieve new questions from the local pool. And then if new content is required the program could do a periodic sync to NWEA. This would be helpful for load balancing on our network.

  18. I love the new option of setting up custom windows for my individual buildings based on weeks of instruction.

One additional option I wish it had was to also allow us to choose individual custom windows for each test. Example: custom window for Reading and custom window for Math all within one building (also within the district testing window range). Thank you for your consideration.

  19. We use Clever to sync student and teacher data into MAP. However many users need additional roles which have to be added manually (super cumbersome). During rollover we accidentally added School Test Coordinator to users but didn't specify the school, giving everyone we added access to ALL campuses. We have no way to remove the bulk upload, aside from going to each profile and updating the roles manually. We also have MANY users who are no longer active in our SIS, they should be marked inactive in MAP, but again manual process. The rostering process could use some work.

  20. Despite actively working on the platform, I'm repeatedly logged out automatically after a short period. This isn't just inconvenient; it's wasting a significant amount of my time and severely impacting my productivity. Frankly, it's baffling that such a basic functionality isn't working as expected.I strongly encourage you to look into this issue, as it’s turning a straightforward task into an unnecessarily complicated one.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
