  1. It would be super helpful to be able to create test sessions by uploading a CSV, where I can put kid, testing location, and assign the test and upload that information.

  2. Students need the option "I don't know" to choose when the they do not know the answer. If a student chooses a random answer, they have the chance of "guessing" the correct one. This can result in skewed data.

  3. The system times out immediately while actively working in it. Please create a warning for the time-out. It signed out in the middle of me adding accommodations multiple times which took over an hour each time. There is no automatic save feature built in so it means starting over each time with an already tedious process of entering individual accommodations. Please fix with a warning or an auto save function. Thanks in Advance!

  4. SAT/ACT/AP exams have Desmos graphing calculator. MAP needs to too. This is how instruction is in the classroom. Consistency is needed. Even if it is not NECESSARY to have a graphing calculator, if that is the way most students are being taught it needs to be available.

  5. When we use Clever for rostering, it gives teachers the Instructor role, but not the School Proctor role. Therefore, they are not able to administer testing. This is very tedious to manually add this role for every teacher. Please add School Proctor for all Instructors automatically.

  6. There should be an option to test students and social studies, especially in Texas. Students are expected to know and learn 8th grade U.S. History for STAAR and it would be helpful to see them exposed to content in 6th-7th grade and to see if they have academically grown.

  7. Students should have access to a conversion/reference sheet for formulas and measurements that is accessible on the toolbar throughout the test.

  8. Kindergarten students may answer a math computation problem and when they have to tap and touch the number into the answer spot, it taps into the wrong place value column because the answer box is divided into ones and tens. Kindergarten is still in the early stages of understanding place value and should not have that count against them, as the main goal is that they understood the operation. The answer box should be developed with that in mind.

  9. We have 1st and 2nd grade dyslexia students that need the entire test read aloud. It would make it better to have the computer read it instead of a human so it would not distract others.

  10. It would be helpful to have a PDF of how parents can help their child prepare for the NWEA MAP tests. This would help build motivation through students and encourage their families to take part in their learning.

  11. When trying to assign accommodations and the choice is "greyed out" ie.. not an option - have a pop up and tell why you can not choose it. Just like when testing and you try to choose an action - at the top in red it tells you what stage the student has to be in to choose the action you want.

  13. Currently, only proctors monitoring active test sessions can see students' progress during the tests. It would be really helpful if school coordinators could directly access and view students' progress in all active sessions without having to rely on each proctor to provide updates or download testing progress files. This would greatly simplify test management and reduce the burden on proctors, especially when monitoring multiple students. Thanks!

  14. Please end the 24-hour wait and make results available instantly. Other companies have this as standard. Ready when a student finishes.

    Please also look into the design of your website. It is hardly user-friendly and clunky to navigate and easy to get lost in.

    How it's organized feels more like a software engineer designed it versus a teacher with experience and a web designer. It could use a redesign from the ground up.

  15. If you are having issues with native resolution errors in your NWEA testing window, try navigating to: Chrome>Settings>Device>Select the appropriateOU>Select - "Allow users to overwrite predefined display settings (recommended)">Change both "Custom external" and "Custom internal" to 95% or whatever percentage appropriately sizes your window without error.

    You may need to reboot your Chromebook for the settings to update.

  16. Since accommodations can only be assigned to multiple students who are in the same grade level, the addition of grade on the Test Session screen would save a lot of time when trying to assign accommodations to multiple students at once.

  17. Currently a student's testing accommodations have to be entered for each testing session. Accommodations also have to be re-entered within the same testing session if the student is assigned one test, (say the reading test), finishes the test, and then is assigned a different test (the Math test). We have so many students with accommodations in our system that it is easy to miss assigning their accommodations because we have to do and redo it so many times.

    The desired system would allow an admin or SpEd staff (or anyone) to go into the system and assign accommodations directly to…

  18. Improve accessibility features for students with visual impairments. The built in magnification tool does not adequately or efficiently zoom in at this time. The test also does not work seamlessly with a Chromebook's built in accessibility features, such as the magnification feature.

  19. I've had a few schools reach out and let me know that they accidentally terminated a test. One thing that I think would be helpful was if the "Are You Sure You Want to Terminate" box was a different color/looked different/etc than the "Are You Sure You Want to Suspend" box. I think a lot of people aren't reading the entire box and are assuming they are on the Suspend button instead of the Terminate button.

  20. They should not get kicked off the test because they are a slower reader (there should be no time limit). I was informed they give them plenty of time before they kick them off. Whatever that limit is, it is not enough. I watched two students scrolling through and reading it and both got kicked off. It is not enough time. There should be no time limit at all. If there is, then it is a timed test. I was told MAP is not a timed test.
