24 hour wait time-end it
Please end the 24-hour wait and make results available instantly. Other companies have this as standard. Ready when a student finishes.
Please also look into the design of your website. It is hardly user-friendly and clunky to navigate and easy to get lost in.
How it's organized feels more like a software engineer designed it versus a teacher with experience and a web designer. It could use a redesign from the ground up.

Resolve Resolution Errors
If you are having issues with native resolution errors in your NWEA testing window, try navigating to: Chrome>Settings>Device>Select the appropriateOU>Select - "Allow users to overwrite predefined display settings (recommended)">Change both "Custom external" and "Custom internal" to 95% or whatever percentage appropriately sizes your window without error.
You may need to reboot your Chromebook for the settings to update.

Include Grade Levels on Test Sessions
Since accommodations can only be assigned to multiple students who are in the same grade level, the addition of grade on the Test Session screen would save a lot of time when trying to assign accommodations to multiple students at once.

Testing Accommodations Attached to Student Record
Currently a student's testing accommodations have to be entered for each testing session. Accommodations also have to be re-entered within the same testing session if the student is assigned one test, (say the reading test), finishes the test, and then is assigned a different test (the Math test). We have so many students with accommodations in our system that it is easy to miss assigning their accommodations because we have to do and redo it so many times.
The desired system would allow an admin or SpEd staff (or anyone) to go into the system and assign accommodations directly to…

Improve Accessibility Features
Improve accessibility features for students with visual impairments. The built in magnification tool does not adequately or efficiently zoom in at this time. The test also does not work seamlessly with a Chromebook's built in accessibility features, such as the magnification feature.

Terminate Test Warning Box- Different Color
I've had a few schools reach out and let me know that they accidentally terminated a test. One thing that I think would be helpful was if the "Are You Sure You Want to Terminate" box was a different color/looked different/etc than the "Are You Sure You Want to Suspend" box. I think a lot of people aren't reading the entire box and are assuming they are on the Suspend button instead of the Terminate button.

Getting Kicked off the Test
They should not get kicked off the test because they are a slower reader (there should be no time limit). I was informed they give them plenty of time before they kick them off. Whatever that limit is, it is not enough. I watched two students scrolling through and reading it and both got kicked off. It is not enough time. There should be no time limit at all. If there is, then it is a timed test. I was told MAP is not a timed test.

Shorten the MAP Growth Test
As an experienced teacher who has seen the MAP tests in action for several years, I feel that the test is too long for students. MAP-R especially requires a serious amount of reading stamina for 4th and 5th grade students. I saw that you measure growth in 3 areas on the test. I recommend that you shorten the test to 30 questions (10 questions in each area). This would be a better measure of students reading ability and comprehension because students wouldn't get as tired and just give up.

It would be wonderful to see the new screeners as well as Growth available in other languages besides Spanish.
Even a printable version of the test for translation would be beneficial in determining what a student already knows and can do.

Allow school and district proctors to seize control of an active session
Currently, if a session is active, and the teacher or proctor has to leave for any reason during the session. The only way to continue to administer/monitor the session (and resolve potential student issues) is to have the teacher who started the session, end and save it before leaving. Then have the proctor or teacher who is replacing the teacher login to their account and resume the session. This is costly when time is limited, and interrupts a test in progress. It would be very helpful if district and school proctors could simply login, find the session in progress, and…

have accommodations attach to students all terms- academic school year
Can we have a feature to keep student accommodations for the school year? TIDE (state testing) and other platforms have this feature.
Adding accommodations each BOY,MOY and EOY to 4 tests per 3 grade levels, 3 times a year is tedious and time consuming.
6th- 4 tests, 7th- 4 tests, 8th grade 4 tests
4 x 3 = 12 tests
12 tests x BOY, MOY, EOY = 36 tests total
36 tests total x 400 students with accommodations= 14, 400 times of accommodations inputted
Also, can the Reading and Language test be combined?

Showing things in multiple ways
We are teaching them that a number and a letter right next to each other means multiplication. For example, image.png, and they have to solve for X. But they way they are writing on MAP is
image.png image.png, meaning times X. It is very confusing to the kids because they already know it's multiplication and we no longer use the X for multiplication because it is a variable. Is there a place for administrators to make suggestions for improvements to the MAP/NWEA testing?? For our kids, it's ilke there is an extra "X" in the problem. (From MS Math teachers)3 votes -

Assign text-to-speech automatically based on student IEP, 504 and ELL plans.
When setting up a test session, TTS should be automatically assigned to those students who have it as an identified need on an IEP, 504 or ELL plan. TTS should be connected to a student account and not a Test Session.

Kinder
The format for Kindergarten MAP can be challenging for early learners' attention span, directions need to be clear and consistent by the program. There are way too many buttons to be pressing in all sorts of order, that the students do not understand. Simplify to get better results and true data.

Save and Delete Buttons
When ending a test session, please make the Save and Exit button and Delete Session button different colors!! They are the same color and size and it's only a matter of time before someone deletes a session by accident.

Add more colors for the highlighter tools
Our students did a writing workshop that taught them how to highlight different information using different colors. Example...Setting (yellow), time (blue), action (green), reaction (red), etc. On the STAR test, they do allow different colors for the highlighter. It would be nice if all things were aligned for the students sake.

Remove outdated terms "Goal score" and "Goal range" from the screen students see when they complete testing
When students complete testing, they are shown a screen that describes their subscores as "goal scores" and the range as "goal range"-- if this is shared with parents, they assume this means that the student's score should be in the "goal range" when it's just showing how consistently the student answered in the subtopic area.

SPANISH NEEDS
We purchased the assessment to use K-12 and were promised secondary course-specific assessments in Spanish, and now that we are giving the assessment, the Spanish does not exist. How do we provide the assessment to our Spanish language students? Or students who speak other languages? This is inequitable!
