  1. Rather than not answering your phone or chat when there is a known testing issue, why don't you post a message on the website. Better yet, you could email local administrators. I had better things to do today than be on hold for 30+ minutes. PS I never received a call back, as promised multiple times.

  2. Currently, the way accommodations are set up is by session, rather then by test or even student.

    I am proposing several changes to this system:
    1) Allow a student to have accommodations for certain tests associated specifically with the student so that they will automatically receive them when a test is set up for that student
    2) Instead of accomodations following the SESSION, they should follow the STUDENT, the same as the test does. If a student starts a test in one session and finishes in another session it is highly likely the second proctor may forget to turn back…

I think you should have a live dashboard that testing coordinators can use to watch live data of what teachers are testing, how many students are done, how many are still working, what question those students are on. Our school uses a two hour testing block and I have to make calls whether to start pulling students to the library to finish prior to the end of the testing session or extend the session entirely if kids are still going.   5. As a school testing coordinator we need to be able run multiple testing sessions. In my district we are responsible for testing all students. I have to rely on my math and reading coach to build sessions with me so that we can complete this task. We use Pearson for our SOL testing in VA and I am allowed to create over 30 sessions and I can view the student activity in each session across multiple grade levels. This would really help with efficiency and streamlining the process.

  6. When getting kicked out of the test, and seeing an "error" message, or issue with the testing site. It would be nice to have a "report an issue" button that we can click. The status page takes a while to get updated and instead of having to sit on chat for over an hour just to say "hey, there's an issue. Did you know?"   8. Currently, in order to mitigate the amount of work on the teacher's end the admin is creating the test sessions. The only way to do this without forcing teachers to sift and sort through a ton of test sessions is for the admin to login as each teacher one at a time and create the sessions for them. This is extremely time consuming and takes forever. There needs to be a way for admins to create a session within their own account, and then change the proctor on the session so that a different teacher can go in and run…

  10. Currently a student's testing accommodations have to be entered for each testing session. Accommodations also have to be re-entered within the same testing session if the student is assigned one test, (say the reading test), finishes the test, and then is assigned a different test (the Math test). We have so many students with accommodations in our system that it is easy to miss assigning their accommodations because we have to do and redo it so many times.

  11. We are on our second test. Forty questions with passages that would bore and discourage most proficient adult readers. I feel so badly for my students. Tests are taking over a week to administer. From a test admin point of view , full results take over 24 hours, students keep getting kicked off, and unable to add students from other classes even after putting in correct information.

  13. Can the slow down sloth be set up within the MAP test to appear more quickly? We recognize this is a product change but are hoping it can be seriously considered.

    Our team has noticed a critical feature of MAP NWEA is not quite what it could be. There is a "slow down sloth" that appears when students take the MAP test too quickly, randomly clicking through the answers. This was a feature we were excited about when we first moved to NWEA assessments.

  15. To help build student confidence the test starts out with 2-3 easy (on grade-level or below) field questions. These questions do not have to count towards the test score. I have given this assessment several times and on the first or second question, I have students crying defeated because the question is so hard.

  17. We have a student with significant visual impairments who requires very large font and specific color contrasts. Please consider how the test questions look when enlarged 300% or so, especially when the reading passages go across the screen rather than on half the screen. When making the text that large, it becomes impossible to navigate for a visually impaired individual.

  18. There should be a way to delete unused sessions easily. Once a session is not in use for at least a month it should automatically delete. This would prevent the unnecessary steps of looking up sessions and deleting them before creating new ones for a new term.

    Or there should be a way to duplicate the sessions from one term to the next and delete the original ones once this is done.

  19. Currently, only proctors monitoring active test sessions can see students' progress during the tests. It would be really helpful if school coordinators could directly access and view students' progress in all active sessions without having to rely on each proctor to provide updates or download testing progress files. This would greatly simplify test management and reduce the burden on proctors, especially when monitoring multiple students. Thanks!

  20. It would be helpful if the test proctor screen could identify how a student was accessing the MAP assessment. We have students that are finding ways to cheat by either logging into Chromebooks and then going to NWEA, but able to switch screens, or possibly using a different operating system to bypass our safeguards.
