  1. This format and layout are completely developmentally inappropriate for early childhood education students. I watched time and time again students who were attempting to answer questions correctly but couldn't because they were trying to drag images, words, or numbers. The idea of having to click it just the 'right way' so it is highlighted with a dotted box around it, and then click where to put it is insane. Further, when students were attempting to formulate sight words or sentences, some were trying to put them in order but because they weren't clicking on the exact correct spot on the…

  2. Class Profile Report needs to show the biggest need to "reinforce", "develop", and "introduce". Showing that only on the student profile makes it difficult to help as many as possible. Including a grouping suggestion based on the highest needs would be a great help too.

  4. We have many classes with a primary teacher and a special education or english learner co-teacher. It would be great if both teachers could simultaneously monitor the same test session that the primary teacher has created without having to give one of the teachers district proctor access.
    We currently roster so that both teachers have access to the class within NWEA but with current functionalities only one teacher can see active test sessions at a time without having to suspend a test and start it again in another teachers session.

  6. Thank you for the update that you provided for the MAP Growth Family Report download functionality, it was very helpful.

    Is it possible to include the word Student before the ID and the number (current information on the family report ID: 124001400282506) on the individual student report?

    Is it possible to have the same information from the Student Progress Report (Student ID: 12400100282506) on the family report?

  7. We run screening tests for potential students. If we keep these active year-round, teachers of current students sometimes choose the screening test by mistake instead of the appropriate Growth test. So, our process is to only activate the appropriate screening tests for the appropriate grade level when the potential student is scheduled to take it.

    This is generally done by our secretaries or principals. The only role with access to Modify Tests is the System Administrator, which has many other permissions that really aren't necessary for them and shouldn't be given.

  9. Allow for the option to change the voice for text to speech accommodations. The voice doesn't not accurately read the text, and will say /red/ when we would want /reed/ for the word read. It will also change long and short vowel sounds so that students are unable to understand what is being read to them.

  10. Allow printing of Family Report at any time - specifically outside of the testing term - regardless if rostering is completed for the next term. Example - Fall term has closed and the Winter term has not been rostered. We cannot print a family report due to Winter rostering not complete.

  11. Please allow direct editing of a student's username in the MAP Growth admin interface to more easily facilitate resolving issues like duplication. Having to manually import a roster to make such changes seems unnecessarily cumbersome and archaic.

  12. The new batch print feature is definitely on the right track. Could you also include the option to create one pdf per school, sorted first by teacher, then by student. Printing is done at the building level for us. Some of our schools are large, with 5-6 teachers per grade in elementary and 6 grades. Currently, none of the options really allows for that. It would make printing, sorting, and distribution to teachers to send home so much easier. Thank you.

  15. My daughter (3rd grade) recently gave me feedback about why she doesn't look forward to these tests and I found it important to consider. When she sees her peers finishing the test before her she gets antsy to finish so she can read, draw, or do something else silently at her desk until all of her classmates are finished. The standardized way a test is administered is as important, if not more important, than the actual test questions and results. My daughter thought she was less knowledgeable and slower than the other students because she was taking longer to finish…

  16. A downloadable report which lists each student who missed standards below their current grade. For example, a child is in 6th grade, but failed to answer standards from 3rd and 4th grade. The download would consist of the student's name and grade as well as those standards - could be listed by MN Standard's codes - they missed. IXL builds a plan for the student, but that plan is based on their RIT. I need to know the standards they missed which were much lower than the overall RIT.

  18. The Family Report is very easy to understand for families but they want more of the specific information they receive on the Student Progress Report to be included (lexile score, district RIT, high/low). If you could merge them it would be ideal as the Family Report is much more visually appealing and easy to understand in my opinion.

  19. On the student profile report, bring back the info in the black box that used to appear when you hovered over a point on the student's graph that shows their individual growth over time. It was helpful to have this info in one place rather than having to click around for it.
