  1. While I'm hopeful that the batch printing will be easier to print and send home reports with each student, I'm frustrated that you can no longer print a family report from a Student Profile Report. Please bring back this option from the "print and share" menu in the Student Profile report. Our teachers and counselors use this feature frequently when sharing data in team meetings and with families who may not have saved a previous report.

  2. I would love it if there was an embedded dictionary. We have a standardized test in the state of Texas that has an embedded dictionary for all students and it would be wonderful if NWEA had one.

  6. Students who need TTS for all content should be able to use the embedded TTS feature within MAP - they should not have to learn to use a new tool like a screen reader just to access text in images and graphics. Screen readers will also read navigation buttons and other text on the screen that is not a part of the test item potentially creating confusion and adding cognitive load.

    Please build images and graphics for test items that can be read aloud by the embedded TTS within MAP.

  7. Offer the Students Without Valid Test Results report in a spreadsheet format, please! The pdf does not allow for cross-referencing with assigned math classes for example and only provides searching by grade level which is tedious when students in the same grade are taking different tests (for example, some 9th graders take Algebra and others take Geometry)

  8. Please change the wording to avoid confusion from:
    "Common fix, try: Ctrl+Shift+0 and Refresh"

    to

    "Common fix, try: Ctrl+Shift+0 then Refresh"

    I have students and teachers coming to me every testing season, and this could be avoided by changing one word.

    It does not have to be exactly this, just something to convey the message that you don't press Refresh at the same time as Ctrl+Shift+0

    And perhaps add in "(zero)", because I have students reading it as "O"

  9. At the end of the 2-5 elementary test, the students do not always click the final blue button. Then their data is lost in space and if it is not logged into later to click the final blue button, the data can disappear. The issue comes with using Chromebooks, and the screen does not display the final blue button and the student would have to scroll down to see it. This is often overlooked, especially in 2nd grade, because the year before they saw a cute puppy dog that said "great job". Can this button be removed and the "great…

  10. You need to have the ability to have two distinct windows within a term. We have one testing window for Elementary and Middle and another for the high schools. Since there is only one window, it is lengthy enough to encompass both. However, in order to get a Projected Proficiency report, student growth summary report, and the district summary report, the window has to be closed. If I close the window, then the high schools cannot test. If I close the window to generate reports, and then open it again for high schools to test, the reports are no longer…

  11. The randomly generated session name included the word "edger" which is an inappropriate slang term. It caused some mayhem when I posted it as I had misread it as being "edgar" and didn't catch it in time. I recommend removing this word from the generation options to avoid this in the future.

  12. When we upload a class roster file, it should permit the students to be in classes in more than one school without fiddling. We have students who are taking one or more classes at another school within our district, and when the roster file has more than one school for a student, the rostering process fails to assign the students to a school of record. We are having to manually move these students or upload multiple roster files to achieve something that should be basic in the rostering process.

  13. For the Algebra 1, Geometry & Algebra 2 tests, I would like the Desmos graphing calculator to be available for students for all questions. This is how instruction is in the classroom, as well as what's available for all questions on the state end of year test. Please make this available for the MAP growth tests OR make it an accommodation we can turn on for our students since now even the SAT/ACT/AP exams have this built in as well.

  14. This format and layout are completely developmentally inappropriate for early childhood education students. I watched time and time again students who were attempting to answer questions correctly but couldn't because they were trying to drag images, words, or numbers. The idea of having to click it just the 'right way' so it is highlighted with a dotted box around it, and then click where to put it is insane.   15. Class Profile Report needs to show the biggest need to "reinforce", "develop", and "introduce". Showing that only on the student profile makes it difficult to help as many as possible. Including a grouping suggestion based on the highest needs would be a great help too.

  17. We have many classes with a primary teacher and a special education or english learner co-teacher. It would be great if both teachers could simultaneously monitor the same test session that the primary teacher has created without having to give one of the teachers district proctor access.
    We currently roster so that both teachers have access to the class within NWEA but with current functionalities only one teacher can see active test sessions at a time without having to suspend a test and start it again in another teachers session.

  19. Thank you for the update that you provided for the MAP Growth Family Report download functionality, it was very helpful.

    Is it possible to include the word Student before the ID and the number (current information on the family report ID: 124001400282506) on the individual student report?

    Is it possible to have the same information from the Student Progress Report (Student ID: 12400100282506) on the family report?

  20. We run screening tests for potential students. If we keep these active year-round, teachers of current students sometimes choose the screening test by mistake instead of the appropriate Growth test. So, our process is to only activate the appropriate screening tests for the appropriate grade level when the potential student is scheduled to take it.

    This is generally done by our secretaries or principals. The only role with access to Modify Tests is the System Administrator, which has many other permissions that really aren't necessary for them and shouldn't be given.
