Re-do
There are some exercises that students cannot re-do once they click on an answer and realize they made a mistake. Allow for students to change their answer on all or most exercises

Caterpillar should not congratulate kids when they get the answer wrong
Change the testing so that the caterpillar does not congratulate students when they get an answer wrong as this might encourage guessing and clicking without thinking. Perhaps he might say, "Not quite", or "Not this time, try again next time" or he could just not say anything at all

Larger Text for Oral Reading Fluency
It would be amazing to have the option (or do it for all automatically) for the story text to be larger on the Oral Reading Fluency Progress Monitoring. It is large and readable in the practice but the assessment portion, it is so tiny my kids get lost frequently!!

Add grade level expectations to the ZPD for every testing window
Add the grade level expectations to the ZPD area for teachers to see on the student profiles in the MAP Reading Fluency platform.

Add goal setting feature and rate of improvement to progress monitoring graph.
Adding a goal setting feature with a goal line on progress monitoring graphs would be helpful for teams that are analyzing a student's response to interventions. Adding rate of improvement to the graph would also help when making decisions for interventions.

Allow admin users to see teacher's view
For those of us who train teachers and/or help trouble-shoot when teachers are having issues, it would be great if there was a way for admin users to select a teacher and then be able to "impersonate" or login as that teacher to see what they see. It would help me in providing teachers with instructions on how to fix their issues. Thanks!

Foundational Skills Tables
Move the Foundational Skills Tables directly under the ZPD Levels (it was previously like this). At some point within the last few months the order changed and it’s now: ZPD Levels, Sentence Reading Fluency, Foundational Skills Tables

Interpretive Tables
Previously, the Foundational Skills Table was located directly under the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) Levels. In the last few months, Sentence Reading Fluency Performance Levels/Grade-Level Expectations was put in between the two.
I would like to see the order as: ZPD Levels, Foundational Skills Table, Sentence Reading Fluency Performance Levels.2 votes -
Test Season - Progress Monitoring is auto-assigned
MAP RF auto assigns a benchmark once you cross into a new test season (eg., Spring is on March 1st). Our schools don't want to benchmark test until closer to the end of the school year -- May.
Can we assign the terms? We like auto-assigning (making teachers' lives easier).
Current configuration is adding time to teachers because they have to go back and change the test to progress monitoring.

Visual Tracker on ORF
Include some sort of visual tracker for students to use while they are reading to help them keep their spot. This is available for MAPS Growth Reading, would like to see it available in MAPS fluency as well.

Phonics Diagnostic Assessment
It would be nice if NWEA also offered a Phonics Diagnostic Assessment in addition to the Universal Screener.

Add printable PDF's of Progress Monitoring measures to see exactly what students can and can't do.
Add printable PDF's of Progress Monitoring measures that are completed, to see exactly what students can and can't do. The only way to know what students are doing is to actually watch them test. We want to be able to target skills and without a report/printable PDF that shows the skills they got and didn't get, this is very difficult.

Show Growth in Phonics /Word Study
Schools need to be able to see students' growth in Phonics and Word Study. The term summary report shows the percentage of students at each level for Phonics and Word Study. This is helpful. However, we also needs a report that shows whether or not growth is happening in Phonics and Word Study. A report that compares the Phonics/Word Study Levels from BOY to MOY to EOY would be helpful.

Student log in improvement
Currently, the Reading Dyslexia testing requires students to log in using their unique NWEA credentials. Reading Dyslexia is given to our Kindergartners through second grade students. Since NWEA credentials need to be unique across all of NWEA, we have set user names as the email addresses for our students. We use the student first name, dot, last name @ our school district. org. Thus, we have Kindergartners who would need to enter something like: Nicklause.CampbellRichardson@capeelizabethschools.org in order to just start the test. If the kindergartner can type all of that....
There should be a way for the teacher to set…

Print Profile & Next Steps Information in Each Link
In the Profile & Next Steps section on a student report it would be helpful to be able to have each links information included on the report. Right now schools are having to take screenshots to add to the child's report. Currently, there's not option to print out each information for the links.

Send Email Messages about Upgrades & Bugs
Please send email messages to district staff about upgrades and any 'bugs' that have been discovered. There was a recent upgrade that caused disruption during testing. Also, please send email reminders about term turnover so that district personnel can inform school site personnel. This also caused disruption because a bug was causing students' tests to default back to English when the teacher had assigned the Spanish test. Thank you.
