  1. Like many of my colleagues, I used the learning continuum to plan for whole and small group instruction. This valuable tool helped us try to avoid the swiss cheese learning we all dread in education. Without the ease of use of the former learning continuum trying to cross reference student scores and scroll through categories by topic or standard is punishing, arduous and nearly impossible. What you are currently offering as your substitute for the learning continuum is not helpful. It is frustrating. You have essentially stripped away the most valuable facet of the data you provided.

  2. To print the new Class Profile uses so much paper, please bring back the condensed Class Report. Downloading to .CVC file is too hard to read when there used to be a perfectly good readable report.

  3. It would be very helpful if we could print the Test Details section of the Class Profile on one page for teachers to have as a reference. When you print the entire report it takes a few pages and the headings of the chart do not appear on each page. If you make the screen smaller and screen shot to print, the type becomes too small to read.

  4. I would love to be able to print off a copy of the NWEA growth family report in spanish. When I went looking for this option I came across this page which makes it seem like it is possible, but I was told by an agent that engineering hasn't been completed and that was why I couldn't find instructions.

  5. The process by which to share MAP results with families is miserable. The family report is not batch-exportable so until NWEA decides to prioritize this simple but critical aspect of the Family Report, the process remains a clerical and technical challenge.

    I would strong advocate for NWEA to institute a system by which parents can enter their child's ID (provided and rostered by the school) and through this system, they can access their child's MAP report. This would remove the school as the "middle man" in the distribution of MAP reports and significantly ease the burden of schools in this…

  6. It would be helpful to have the ability for a testing administrator or testing coordinator to pull a report before testing has begun, but after sessions have been created, that shows which accommodations have been assigned to the students. This would allow administrators to confirm that the correct accommodations have been assigned to students before the test is given with the incorrect accommodations.

  8. I would like to have a report that groups students based on their readiness to learn a new topic in the continuum. This would allow me to call a group of students in and teach them all a specific topic that they are all either behind or ahead of the general class.

  10. Please bring this back! We utilized this feature ALL the time with our teachers for analyzing data to best drive our instruction and close gaps. I know it can be accessed under each student ISR, but for my teachers in the district that are super busy they do not have the time to go kid by kid on a report to analyze and collect the data of where our standards are not being met.   11. I am looking for a report (exportable spreadsheet data) that would give me current students math and reading RIT scores for fall 2024, spring 2024, winter 2023, fall 2023, etc. but that also includes the homebase teacher's name (or first block, 2nd block, etc.) as a column in the data. The only way I've been able to get close is by running a Map Growth Class Report and exporting the class report. But that means I must run the report for each teacher x 2 subjects. It adds up.
    The Grade Breakdown report doesn't seem to include the homeroom teacher.

  12. I would like to see a function that populates a small group based on historical map data that are linked to a standard that we are teaching. For Example, If we are going to teach the standard of finding the area of a standard shape in 3rd-grade math, I would like MAP Reports to populate small groups based on areas that my students are below, on level, or proficient in the skills needed to learn that skill.

  14. An admin reported that teachers are receiving emails when new user accounts are created. They’ve asked that these notifications be suppressed, as they will handle user communication directly. Please update the system to stop these emails from being sent to end users upon account creation.

  15. Prior to the 2024-2025 school year, Data Sharing was available between NWEA MAP and IXL. It would be VERY beneficial to reinstate that connection. The connection between the 2 programs allows our teachers to track and assign content specific to the learners needs. It was very helpful to see if the data aligned between the 2 programs. Please reconsider this connection.

  16. Currently printing the family report by class takes too much time. We include these with reportcards. These must be able to be printed at the school/grade-level in larger batches. Adding translations in other languages is crucial too.

  19. Include some way for us to see the specific students whose tests have been terminated. One Idea would be to include a notation in the "Students Without Valid Test Results" operational report.
    Rationale: We only allow 1 test per window so if a teacher does not want a student's results to "count against them," all the teacher needs to do is terminate the test and keep quiet. This is because without this feature in a large district there is no feasible way for me to ensure that all students have truly been given the opportunity to take the MAP Growth…

  20. Since AI misuse has become prevalent, NWEA should develop "indicators" to flag test results for potential cheating behaviors. Districts could investigate to confirm or refute flagged scores.
