  1. Turn on the mic when the students are given a sentence and have to pick the picture that answers the questions. Account for the slower readers and increase the likelihood that they will hit their target by adjusting or accounting for the increase in time or lowering the number attempted.

  3. There is a delay from when a child selects an answer to when the screen moves to the next item. Students interpret that delay as "I need to click again." and they are being advanced through one or more items because of their repeat clicking.

  4. We need an individual student report that shows one student's scores from both benchmarks and progress monitoring across multiple terms. Right now, we have to make our own spreadsheets by collecting data from multiple screen views.
    Thank you.

  5. You need to add a submit button after each question. Many. many times my students accidentally click on the wrong answer because they were using their mouse to read each answer. This happens on all of the tests.

  8. Is it possible to see the system errors scored? It does not appear and would make it great feedback to teachers.

    1. Allow a feature to have an audio recording slowed so the teacher can better hear the student.
    2. Develop a printable copy of the student assessment (oral reading) so that the teacher can see what the software counted as an error.

  9. It would be much more beneficial for teachers to see a percentile in progress monitoring instead of the domain score.

  10. As a district data administrator, I would like the ability to exclude a test from MAP Reading Fluency like we can with MAP Growth. For times like dyslexia screening, when the wrong students takes the test under the wrong name, I need to be able to remove exclude that test

  11. It would really be nice to see where students are at in the fluency process like we do with the Map Growth screeners.

  12. Missouri would LOVE to have a report that shows students' MAP Reading Fluency from Fall, Winter, and Spring all in one Report (similar to the MAP Growth ISR). This would be so helpful for our required RSP (Reading Success Plans) to show parents the colors of where their students fall to show that they either show improvement or need extra resources to get to where they need to be per their grade level.

  13. It would be great if we could have a report, much like the MAP Growth Reports, that shows term comparison for a student for easier tracking.

  14. I cannot physically find on any report the exact date each student is tested on benchmark. I know there is a fall score and a winter score, but I don't know the day or month... We had a teacher accidentally test her kids in December. Your winter window was open, but our district window was not. So, technically they all had to retest to adhere to district guidelines.

  15. There is a reading question with pictures and the student is to match a sentence below with each picture. The box above each picture is so small, students had difficulty placing the sentence. I even had trouble. Make the boxes bigger please.

  16. Just received our winter screener results. Every single student who is "flagged" is an ELL student who would only be able to identify the pictures in the phonological awareness and phonics sections if they clicked the speaker button to have each picture read to them. There are two huge problems with this: 1--As kindergarteners, clicking every speaker button on every page requires more persistence than is developmentally typical and 2--This section is scored by the number of questions a student answers correctly in a given time limit. Students who have English as a first language know the pictures and can…

  18. If there was a print out option of the text reading instead of just a listening option, teachers could more easily analyze the types of errors students are making. This would add a diagnostic element to your universal screener that would notch it up to be more diagnostically useful.

  19. The new layout of this site is confusing and not user friendly! The news articles shouldn't be the first thing you see once logged in; it should be all the components of MAP Growth and Fluency. So unnecessarily confusing!
