Report idea
I am looking for a report (exportable spreadsheet data) that would give me current students math and reading RIT scores for fall 2024, spring 2024, winter 2023, fall 2023, etc. but that also includes the homebase teacher's name (or first block, 2nd block, etc.) as a column in the data. The only way I've been able to get close is by running a Map Growth Class Report and exporting the class report. But that means I must run the report for each teacher x 2 subjects. It adds up.
The Grade Breakdown report doesn't seem to include the homeroom teacher.5 votes -
New Class Roster Report print PDF doesn't work
The new class roster report has a print PDF option. However, when you choose that option, it doesn't convert the report to PDF .

kiosk
The requirement for Kiosk mode on chromebooks seems excessive. With a large number of students, paying a monthly fee for kiosk mode on top of the NWEA fee adds up to quite a lot for something that is only used 2-3x per year.

State Solutions App
I would like for the State Solutions App to be in the Apple App Store. As a school tech we get our computers ready for the next year during the summer. And if this app gets updated just as school starts its a pain to remove it from all of our devices. Then install the new version.
If the app was in the App Store it would be easier to update the app without having to remove the old one before installing the new.1 vote -
Testing trial
Every year in the Fall when we go to start our test session the NWEA site doesn't work. This is frustrating at our Elementary level for many reasons. One reason is that there is a lot of planning that goes into our day and mentally preparing some of our students who may have test anxiety. So my suggestion to solve this issue is to have practice sessions on the NWEA end to make sure all the bugs are worked out prior to August 15th. This will definitely alleviate the stress on all of us on the educator side and I…

Software for Load Balancing
I understand that NWEA uses adaptive testing for the question pool. But I was wondering if a program could be designed to pool some questions to a server or workstation, and then the student could still retrieve new questions from the local pool. And then if new content is required the program could do a periodic sync to NWEA. This would be helpful for load balancing on our network.

Student Couldn't Input Incorrect Fraction Response
I had two separate students who wanted to enter a fraction as their answer, which was incorrect but what they believed to be correct. However, the text box wouldn't allow them to enter 2/6 (as an example). It seemed to only accept whole numbers. There didn't seem to button to change the format entry to a fraction or mixed number box.
Students should be able to enter the response they believe to be correct, so all entry options should be accepted.2 votes -
When site is down
When your site is down and you're experiencing difficulties, it would be nice if you could send out a notification to your subscribers. I spent 2 hours this morning on hold and waiting to chat to see what is going on.

Custom Windows Per Building PER assessment (MTH, READING, SCI)
I love the new option of setting up custom windows for my individual buildings based on weeks of instruction.
One additional option I wish it had was to also allow us to choose individual custom windows for each test. Example: custom window for Reading and custom window for Math all within one building (also within the district testing window range). Thank you for your consideration.2 votes -

MAP Class Report Data Expansion
Can we please have access to class report data for more than the current and the previous academic year?
This will help teachers access class data for classes taught after students no longer take the MAP tests.

Put save button at top
When assigning tests and accommodations, but a save button at the TOP of the page, with the assign buttons. We are already at the top assigning things. It's an inconvenience to have to scroll to the bottom, especially when you have a lot of kids in the list, just to save.

Import students with specific test
It would be super helpful to be able to create test sessions by uploading a CSV, where I can put kid, testing location, and assign the test and upload that information.

Bring back Class Report
To print the new Class Profile uses so much paper, please bring back the condensed Class Report. Downloading to .CVC file is too hard to read when there used to be a perfectly good readable report.

Think Long-Term
You can only have policies that are hostile to your customers for so long until you lose business. You are not Apple where you can brainwash your customers into thinking they are the problem instead of your product (and even that approach does not last forever). There are too many to list, but one is making it impossible for someone to have multiple accounts tied to the same email address (e.g. larger organizations) and rolling this out during the summer where those who can help at the school level are out for the summer. There are far better ways to…

Mass Removal/Inactivation of Users
We use Clever to sync student and teacher data into MAP. However many users need additional roles which have to be added manually (super cumbersome). During rollover we accidentally added School Test Coordinator to users but didn't specify the school, giving everyone we added access to ALL campuses. We have no way to remove the bulk upload, aside from going to each profile and updating the roles manually. We also have MANY users who are no longer active in our SIS, they should be marked inactive in MAP, but again manual process. The rostering process could use some work.

Login Fronted: Logging Me Out of My Mind!
Despite actively working on the platform, I'm repeatedly logged out automatically after a short period. This isn't just inconvenient; it's wasting a significant amount of my time and severely impacting my productivity. Frankly, it's baffling that such a basic functionality isn't working as expected.I strongly encourage you to look into this issue, as it’s turning a straightforward task into an unnecessarily complicated one.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
