  1. Is there a way to create a Students Grouped by Instructional Area Scores report for grade levels - This would be extremely beneficial for grade level intervention, MTSS/RTI, etc. Right now, we're having to piece together reports and disaggregate further in order to best group students by their lowest instructional area/need across the grade level.

  2. It would great if, on the "Test Event History" page we had a short statement about the cutoff "Standard Error Score" that wold invalidate a student's test.

Also, if we could have a statement that shared there was an invalid score on a stdent profile page that would be helpful.

I manage the MAP test for a large district (40K+ students) and a school reached out today saying "We know he completed his test - we saw him do it. Now we don't see a score. What's going on?" Somehow marking a test event as invalid and at least a…

  3. Bring back the printable Class Breakdown by Instructional areas. Seeing all students in all domains on one sheet was so helpful as I work on my computer.

  4. There are font options that promote smoother/more fluent reading for students that have dyslexia. These specific fonts help mitigate the challenges that some students experience when reading.

  6. Could we be able to see the historical data and instructional areas for students who have completed the testing multiple times? So, if I were to select last winter's roster for a student report, it would look like it did then. The idea is that I'm looking for the specific learning outcomes that have changed for a student.

  7. NWEA needs to build additional integrations for authentication and user provisioning into NWEA MAP Growth. Currently the only two options for SSO are Clever and Classlink. However a system with as sensitive of data as NWEA, there needs to be configuration for a fully fledged IdP such as Okta. Ideally this configuration would be via OIDC and also support user provisioning via SCIM. Currently all user account creation is managed manually, which can leave behind stale user accounts that pose security risks. Further, there is no native way within NWEA's user management portal to enforce MFA. If NWEA were to…

  8. As a network of multiple charter schools, our MAP data is a vital part of the renewal and WASC process. We were recently requested by our charter authorizer to have our CGI scores broken down by Program and Ethnicity for each individual grade-level for the past three years. There was no easy way to obtain this information for past years. The combined report would have been the best place to obtain this info, but it only contains ethnicity data.

  9. It would be very helpful for my team if the Family Report could be exported as a Word File or Google Doc. We mailmerge reports like this out to our families and mailmerge their addresses into it so that they can be sent to the correct place, but this is much harder to do with a PDF file. Thanks for your consideration!

  10. I would love to be able to compare our school's data with other state schools participating in MAP Growth like we are able to do with the PSAT and SAT. We like to have a data point for both state and national averages for comparisons.

  11. incorporate existing eye-tracking software (like Tobii) to the test. The software will track where student eyes go, how long they spent on each word of each question. This will help see if students are guessing or having trouble with certain vocabulary.

  14. We have a student with significant visual impairments who requires very large font and specific color contrasts. Please consider how the test questions look when enlarged 300% or so, especially when the reading passages go across the screen rather than on half the screen. When making the text that large, it becomes impossible to navigate for a visually impaired individual.

  15. Hi! We have several students where we have a legal obligation to provide accommodations (IEPs) , such as paper based testing. It would be really helpful to have an accessible option available to print. This would allow all of our students access to participate in testing, and allow us to have solid data points for our students receiving services. At this time, some students are not able to engage with this format of testing.

  16. After having parent conferences and explaining the decrease in growth and/or achievement, we find ourselves pulling up the student profile at times and using more charts, graphics and data from it to explain the parent report. For example, the test duration would be great to include on the parent report. That, at times, explains why their score dropped. This helps teachers explain this decrease a little better.

  17. It would be helpful for a proctor managing multiple classes in one testing session to be able to identify which class the students are. Being able to accurately identify a class to suspend test, test again, and etc.

  19. Could NWEA create a report to show longitudinal growth/achievement over 5 years at the district/campus/teacher level? It could look like the graph on the student profile. :)

  20. On the Early Skills Screener - allow students to click an answer and then click the answer box where they want to place it. This would eliminate us having to add an external mouse to devices that we've already spent a considerable amount on.
