  1. Was the idea to add both marketing garbage and more clicks to get to the things we actually want? If so, bravo.

    Admin like me want the admin/management page. Teachers want the reporting page. The only people who want "product news and updates" to be the first thing we see is your marketing team.

    Get rid of it, or at least give us the option of setting our home page.

  2. Can we have a feature to keep student accommodations for the school year? TIDE (state testing) and other platforms have this feature.

    Adding accommodations each BOY,MOY and EOY to 4 tests per 3 grade levels, 3 times a year is tedious and time consuming.

    6th- 4 tests, 7th- 4 tests, 8th grade 4 tests

    4 x 3 = 12 tests

    12 tests x BOY, MOY, EOY = 36 tests total

    36 tests total x 400 students with accommodations= 14, 400 times of accommodations inputted

    Also, can the Reading and Language test be combined?

  3. I can run a report under manage students, but it is one student at a time. It would be more convenient if I could run a report for an entire grade to confirm that everyone has completed the four tests needed. Currently, I have to search for each student individually because we administer Math tests specific to the enrolled class.

  5. We are teaching them that a number and a letter right next to each other means multiplication. For example, image.png,and they have to solve for X. But they way they are writing on MAP is
    image.png image.png, meaning times X. It is very confusing to the kids because they already know it's multiplication and we no longer use the X for multiplication because it is a variable. Is there a place for administrators to make suggestions for improvements to the MAP/NWEA testing?? For our kids, it's ilke there is an extra "X" in the problem. (From MS Math teachers)

  7. Map Growth Report Historical Percentile Ranks should now be included on the Student Profile Report since the Growth Reports are being retired. We need to be able to see and print all of the student's percentile ranks on one printable page. On the Student Profile Report we have to click on the RIT scores to reveal the percentile ranks but there is no way to print the report with all of the percentile ranks showing.   8. I work at a school and all students have learning disabilities, primarily dyslexia and reading comprehension struggles. That being said, most students take more than one day to complete the test and some even take 3 or more sessions. There are a few students who are unable to complete the test but have put in many hours and are able to get a RIT score.

    It would be great to have an option where there is a "did not finish" button that allows us to end a test and obtain the RIT score, but as some sort of indication that…

  9. From a System Administrator standpoint, it would be great to have an NWEA user activity log to go back to. This way if anything needs attention and investigation as to why it changed or who changed it there is a way to follow up on it. It will also be useful if the activity log can be searched by the role type of the account holders. The activity logs data range could cover the current school year and the year before to allow for change control and case management.

  10. Years ago in an NWEA training, we were urged to do a manual upload for our campus admin to see students as a whole grade level and analyze data! I completely see the need for this! However, it has been years of doing these manual uploads and there still hasn't been any updates to an NWEA admin report that would allow this without all of the uploads each term! I would LOVE to see our campus admin have the ability to run any of these reports to see an entire grade level like a class. Is it something that can…

  11. Students with text to speech accommodations should have the ability to choose the speed at which the text is delivered as well as the pitch of the voice (male vs female).

  12. Right now all you can see is an achievement breakdown of the overall test. I would like to be able to see instructional area performances for the whole school by grade level.

    For example, I want to see which area (informational, literary, or vocabulary) has the lowest achievement for all of 8th grade in my school.

  13. When setting up a test session, TTS should be automatically assigned to those students who have it as an identified need on an IEP, 504 or ELL plan. TTS should be connected to a student account and not a Test Session.

  14. In "School Profile" under "Growth and Achievement" it would be very useful to be able to compare 2 consecutive testing sessions. We have run across an issue with potential cheating and we cannot run a progress/growth report between Spring 2023 and Fall 2023.

    We can run Fall to Fall, but then the growth numbers take into account several testing sessions and we cannot identify easily the students that only grew rapidly on this last testing session. It is possible to see a student growth of 30 points over a fall-to-fall period, but we are seeing that from spring to fall.…

  15. Every user in this large district logs into NWEA to view student reports, set up test sessions or manage students/users but with your changes this year it is hard to navigate to that screen because it takes multiple clicks. It is not easily located from your new page or the updated new page which really changed nothing. It is frustrating to land at your new page and click on links that seem like they would take you to the original home page but instead lead to some article or other nonsense.

  17. Our students take both Reading and Math in both English and Spanish. On the dashboards, you can see both Reading in English and Spanish. For Math, however, it only shows the higher of the two scores as opposed to showing both scores in both languages. We'd like to see both!

  18. Text-to-Speech Accommodation for Math Assessment: Enable the Text-to-Seech Accommodation to be applied directly to the test itself instead of individual students. Text to Speech is a standard support for our students during Mathematics and Algebra assessments. The current method of assigning this accommodation to students, particularly during mixed-grade test sessions, is inefficient. The option could be added to the MODIFY TESTS section of Modify Preferences.

  19. Please don't change the splash page in the middle of the school year. I suspect you got a lot of feedback about the changes to the access page for MAP. I personally find them frustrating because I can't find anything and it just takes me back to the old place eventually, so that means more clicks. Changing it in the middle of the school year is problematic, however. We have documentation we have created in our district for staff to help them find things.   20. If only the Quad report is going to be moved over to profile reports, the functionality of both the Quad AND the Projection/Summary reports need to be incorporated. Currently the Quad only displays definitive beg.-end. data, while the P/S version displays within academic year beg., but open end for projections. Teachers greatly rely on this information for the growth expectations/achievements overview of their classes, but at the individual student level, as well.
