Suggestions for Improving the MAP Reading Fluency Platform:
Pause Feature:
Allow students to pause the Oral Reading Assessment or Progress Monitoring. If there are interruptions such as announcements or a fire drill, teachers should have the ability to pause and resume without affecting results.Delete Option for Progress Monitoring Scores:
Provide an option to delete or invalidate a progress monitoring score if an interruption occurs or the results are not valid.Goal Setting in Oral Reading Progress Monitoring:

Hello, I am finding this format very frustrating, please make it so that I can easily access my students rather than seeing this huge dark gray bar .

Year long progress monitoring data
We should be able to access the history of progress monitoring for students, even after a benchmark is assigned/given. Then we can look at growth over the school year for all data points - Progress Monitoring and Benchmark

It would be helpful to see a student's benchmark data and progress monitoring data on one screen or one graph.

Progress Monitoring Data Sheet
As the reading specialist I need to review progress monitoring data for classrooms. It is extremely time consuming to have to click on each individual child to see their progress. I need a faster way (report) to look at and determine how students are progressing. Please come up with a way to do it!

Progress Monitoring Dashboard View
Please come up with a way to see all of the students in a class and their progress monitoring scores. It takes so much time to click on every student. Check out the amplify website and how DIBELS shows progress monitoring. It is much more user friendly.

The next band
After assigning the custom Lexile cluster a child can then exceed that cluster. It would be really great if MAP reading fluency then auto assigned them to the next band. THanks!

Adjusting lexile level in progress monitoring
Progress monitoring should be auto-generated levels based on their reading - and when a student is showing clear progress, the system should increase their levels - a teacher should not need to go in and push them up to the next level. Also, they shouldn't need to push them down a level, the system should be able to do that

Scoring
When the computer scores a student's WCPM/Accuracy, it would be very helpful for the teacher to see what the mistakes were that the computer decided - the passage should be "marked up"

Needs Review Report
Please create a report to flag students who have recordings that need review even those who had enough to get a score but have a second passage that need review.

Hand scoring
I wish they had a key for "mispronounced" because students don't always substitute a known word but will attempt to sound the word out and sometimes get it incorrect.
