  1. It would be helpful if you could add an alert on the proctor console to show the test is invalid once it's completed, especially in cases where the test doesn't meet the minimum test duration requirements.

  2. I have noticed that younger learners with the Read Aloud option have a hard time understanding that they need to go back and and pick an answer. They either listen to the first choice - see that the button popped up and assume they got it right and move on. OR they listen to all 4 choices - answer in their head - and move on leaving the last answer selected.

    If the listen button could be unlinked from the multiple choice answers that would really help us get better data.

  3. Maintain the Term Rostering for students who have test events, even if they unenroll before the end of the testing window.

    Now, if a student is removed from the Clever roster, the entire enrollment term in progress is removed for that student. This happens regardless of whether the student has test events in the window or when in the window they exited the school. That means meaningful test data is excluded from class reports and school profile reports.

  4. Page 13 of the Proctor Guide https://teach.mapnwea.org/impl/ProctorGuide.pdf states that selecting "Do Not Confirm: Terminates the original test and restricts the student from taking the test again this term." This is not accurate. My teachers are confused enough as it is with all the different menu options - please maintain accurate documentation to support your users!

  5. As a special education case manager, it is very tedious to sort through individual teacher's classes to find my student's data. I would love the availability to create a "caseload" where I could claim students as mine to quickly track progress, better inform my small group groupings, improve reteaching instruction, produce reports, etc. Thank you for considering.

  6. It is difficult to pull one report at time when looking at a specific teacher's data. We would like a drop down list of teachers that we can check to filter the teachers' names we want to see data for. For example, teachers have 3 blocks listed in the class profile.

  7. It is essential that assessment design aligns with evidence-based instructional practices. When there is a disconnect between how students are taught and how they are assessed, the validity and reliability of the resulting data are compromised (American Educational Research Association, American Psychological Association, & National Council on Measurement in Education, 2014).

  8. Please add the Lexile levels so that my teachers do not need another tool or time-consuming assessment. I realize there is some debate as to the accuracy of the Lexile levels in Spanish, but starting anywhere would be helpful and more equitable.

  9. Here is the thing, often times student may have a extremely high understanding of the topic, and starting off low is simply troublesome since you would ever reach your full potential, if you are unlucky enough to be paired with bugged system that won't allow you to get one step near the next RIT range. If we start hard first, then its easier to determine the students' full potential, rather than the base of their knowledge.

  12. Our state (Maryland) requires reporting with the 2 new race codes be used for the 2026-2027 school year. The two changes made in 2024 at the Federal level include a Middle Eastern/Northern African category and making Hispanic a race and not a separate ethnicity with a race. Please update NWEA MAP to enable ingestion and reporting to include these new codes.

  13. When generating the Family Report for a current administration, it generates a report for students who did not participate and shows data from previous administrations. This caused a lot of confusion for our high school families who received a Winter 2026 report for students who had not been required to participate in SY25-26. The Winter 2026 reports showed data from previous administrations. It would be ideal to have setting options so that school divisions could limit the reports to students who actually participated in the current year administration.

  14. I am getting ready to print NWEA Maps Family Reports and noticed the formatting is off now. They have placed the blank page at the end, instead of the 2nd page after the whole class PDF. I have attached an example. Usually it is an easy print, double sided, but now you can't.

  15. Many of the questions in NWEA’s MAP testing are irrelevant, boring and completely not engaging to the youth of today. Many students loose interest a few questions in, and some students click through quickly just to get the testing over with. It is likely that many children would score better if they actually found the questions they were reading interesting during the reading test. As a 7th grader with a 250 in reading and a 255 in math, I can safely say that is someone with firsthand experience of these tests, many of the questions are very outdated. During a…

  19. Our first day of school with students is August 17 next year. Since I cannot change the start date for the new year in NWEA, we will not start rostering until August 15, which is the weekend. Therefore, my teachers cannot prepare during their first week back for NWEA testing, which is the week prior. I would like to adjust the start and end dates of each school year to align with our calendar.
