  1. First grade NWEA Passages need to be more developmentally appropriate size and spacing. The passages 1st graders are looking at are the same size and spacing parameters as the ones that 3rd graders are reading. Can 1st grade assessments have larger font and wider spacing so students can track correctly?

  3. It would be great if we could run reports that include both Fall and Winter results. This would help with comparing who continued to be flagged from one administration to another.

  4. Would be great if teachers could score oral reading passages as students read to the teachers rather than recording the audio and having to hand score. This would prevent frustration and having to reassess students multiple times.

  8. In phonological awareness, it says the word speak and asks students to take away the /s/ sound. Students don't know what a peak is so it's not age appropriate. Thanks.

  13. Add the estimated NWEA Growth Reading percentile to the .csv output file for the Dylslexia Screener and Foundational Skills result types, in addition to the Dyslexia and Universal Screen results. This will help schools identify students whose result is close to the flag cut scores.

  15. If you are using the Reading fluency map on the ipad, make sure your students press "Allow" when the app asks to use the microphone. If they press deny, the proctor will need to go into settings, find the Reading Fluency app settings, and toggle the microphone switch to ON. I would add this to the knowledge base.

  16. We need an individual student report that shows one student's scores from both benchmarks and progress monitoring across multiple terms. Right now, we have to make our own spreadsheets by collecting data from multiple screen views.

  17. Spanish MAP Fluency would be helpful in assessing students in dual language classes. In our district many of our schools offer dual language. Our state dyslexia screener must be offered in Spanish and English. It would be great to be able to offer MAP Fluency as the screener.

  20. It would be nice if the test was divided into 2 parts. It is pretty lengthy for kindergarten and 1st grade students to complete in one sitting. I know you can pause the test, but that would not be as easy as just having the test already petitioned into 2 parts.
