  1. Please take the green done button off of the Oral Reading Fluency passages for the first minute. This will encourage students to read for at least a minute so their score can count.

  3. On NWEA Growth, students are allowed to click each answer choice and then click the arrow when they're ready to move on. On MAP Reading Fluency, once they click an answer, it moves them on. This is a hard adjustment for young learners (k-1) especially since we teach them to click on every answer to hear the choices on growth.

  4. Interpretive tables should be included on student reports so that they can be easily interpreted by teachers without having to look back and forth.

  5. For lower elementary the capital I and lowercase l look the same. Can you use a different font, so we know that the issue is with phonics/phonemic awareness.

  6. On Benchmark Matrix Reports -

    Please provide the following:

    • List the date of test completion - to easily identify the latest test - when more than one test is administered in one term.

    • List the ZPD level numbers for Phonological Awareness and Phonics

    • List the percentiles for Phonological Awareness and Phonics

This additional data will allow us to quickly identify growth in students receiving interventions - so instruction can be adjusted to meet needs.

    Thank you!

  8. Testing progress bar (or percentage) to show how much of the test the student has completed vs how much left to complete. This would be nice for the teacher to see while testing.

  9. Please add the Status Percentiles dotted lines to the progress monitoring phonological awareness & Phonics/Word Recognition; ike you have available to select for Oral reading
Also possibly add the percentile to show up as well when you hover the mouse arrow over the dot, so it shows domain score & percentile of that exact test. Also list or add a column to include the percentiles next to domain score that appear under the progress monitoring test details. Those changes would be That would be SO HELPFUL.

  11. Our teachers really value the Phon. Awareness and Phonics subskill raw scores at the bottom of the individual student report (e.g. "Decoding: CVC, 10/11"). It would be amazing for each of those subskill raw scores to also be included in the data export so we can analyze trends in those granular subskills at aggregated levels (class, grade, etc.) beyond just individual by individual. Can fields be added to the data export so we can access those scores for multiple students at once? Thank you.

  12. Take out field test every benchmark. Time is valuable in the classroom. Randomly assign a small group or test it in a different way.

  13. Can you provide a report that shows student score/percentage in domain of phonics. The data provided by Benchmark Matrix is too generic. We need more specific data, e.g., what letters, what sounds, about each individual student especially if they are in the yellow or red. It will help to differenciate instruction and meet their specific needs. The generic - Letters & Sounds - doesn't provide any data that I am not aware of.

  14. We are currently using MAP Fluency three times a year to measure growth in foundational skills. As an administrator, there is no way for me to compare fall to winter scores in order to determine growth for students and/or classes without pulling reports and sorting through one giant report a million times and merging data to figure out which students belong to which teacher. Is there any way under term comparison report to add separate teacher data that can be turned on for admin and district admin?

  15. It would be nice if the Benchmark score was included on the graph. Maybe it could be a different color or a larger circle. That way the teacher and the students could see the progress/comparison with their BOY/MOY/EOY scores and progress monitoring.

  17. I would really like to be able to see a simple term over term comparison of the Foundational Skills with Dyslexia screener without having to toggle between 2 reports. Some of the other MAP NEWEA tests have line graphs showing growth --- something like that to help easily communicate results with our parents.

  18. Can you make it so that the top categories stay in place like you can freeze in place as you scroll down the page for each student.
Also and or, you may just include this information that appears here for each student and have it appear on the page that opens for them.
It is very frustrating scrolling up and down to figure out what the category is when you have to scroll back to the bottom.
    Thank you

  19. When the scoring engine doesn't score an oral reading fluency passage, I have to go back and hand score a LARGE number of tests. This is not time productive. It would be helpful if we could instead enter these manually to get the graphs and comparison data until students are better able to fluently read. (This would require a library of all the passages and comprehension questions.)

  20. It would be helpful to have a resources library of progress monitor probes and comprehension questions. I have several students that do not do well with the online testing that I complete running records on instead.
