  1. The updates to the Class and School profiles reports are great. Being able to see program data attached to students within a class, is super helpful for teachers. Being able to filter to a certain program to see thier performance is also supoer helpful, so students and staff can have data specific to that group, and compare to the whole group. However, it would be great to be able to export that students level data, already filtered directly to excel.

  2. I believe it completely negates the validity of the math MAP test when students at grades 3+ are responsible for reading the math test. As a third grade teacher, I have plenty of students in my class who unfortunately score very low on the math MAP test due to poor reading skills. If we are testing their mathematical ability, we should not be requiring them to read.

    Further, this renders their reports virtually useless because I do not know what was missed due to a mathematical misunderstanding or what was answered incorrectly simply because the child did not know how…

  3. Please don't change the splash page in the middle of the school year. I suspect you got a lot of feedback about the changes to the access page for MAP. I personally find them frustrating because I can't find anything and it just takes me back to the old place eventually, so that means more clicks. Changing it in the middle of the school year is problematic, however. We have documentation we have created in our district for staff to help them find things.   4. It would be very helpful if we could get a CSV version of the report that shows students without valid tests/test results by status. CAASPP for example has a report that shows all students and their test statuses as a CSV, it's very helpful because I can plug that CSV into a spreadsheet of my own that groups students by class or grade or subject or easily filters for certain things, giving it as a PDF makes it very hard to share unless I'm sharing the whole file.   5. Have a bank of DEMO Data that consists of all subjects that can be used during summer PD for teachers when school district data is not available. That way teachers can get in and get hands-on with actual data to see which reports will be most beneficial for driving both Tier 1 and small group instruction in their classrooms. Just watching videos on the NWEA website, or looking at pictures of the different kinds of reports, is not enough for teachers to get good at using the multitude of ways that NWEA can be of use to them in their…

  7. When students time out, their names are no longer in the class list to log back in. The proctor must suspend them and then set them to "test again" after which they have to reboot and then log in again. THIS IS a software bug. The work around I have described is "solving" something that the developers should fix. Student names can be repopulated if the software is changed. Every teacher in every school encounters this problem and has for the past 17 years I have administered this test.

  8. Printing and Downloading the colorful reports for the class reports and some of the NEW innovative report styles that are being activated need those options. They are only available for viewing. Please have your IT or creator of the NWEA database add those options, which is essential for all users.

  9. Make it possible for parents and students to login and see their data. Allowing batched PDF downloads is not empowering for these stakeholders and creates a ton of work for people in coordinator positions within the schools.

  11. There should be an option to test students and social studies, especially in Texas. Students are expected to know and learn 8th grade U.S. History for STAAR and it would be helpful to see them exposed to content in 6th-7th grade and to see if they have academically grown.

  12. We love that MAP is integrated with FACTS SIS through Clever. This makes importing student information into MAP very efficient. Since FACTS and MAP are already connected, it would be very helpful if we could use FACTS to email MAP reports to parents. Currently, we print them and hope they make it home. It seems that it would be possible to use Clever to access the FACTS parent email system and send MAP reports via email.

  13. In order to do bulk uploads to a system, we need the pdfs to be saved under the student number. Right now, it's just generating a random number. I understand we can use a .csv file bulk upload, but not in the format of a pdf for parents, which is what we need. Can the saving convention be changed?

  14. If a school uses Clever Sync for Automatic Rostering, having a checkbox in the student profile for a manually entered student through NWEA that would override the sync of that profile would not be erased on the next sync. Then uncheck the student when ready to have the next sync erase the student. It would be helpful for screening new students before they are active in the school's SIS.

  15. If only the Quad report is going to be moved over to profile reports, the functionality of both the Quad AND the Projection/Summary reports need to be incorporated. Currently the Quad only displays definitive beg.-end. data, while the P/S version displays within academic year beg., but open end for projections. Teachers greatly rely on this information for the growth expectations/achievements overview of their classes, but at the individual student level, as well.

  17. It would be extremely helpful to have interactive reports (similar to the school profile reports) that would drill down domain specific data for a grade level. For example: I'd like to see how many students are struggling in a specific content area domain for a school and/or district.

  18. There are at times, when a teacher reaches out and can't find a student or is having an issue with a test session. I have another program that we use for assessing students and at the highest of roles, I have the ability to become that user to see what they are seeing. That would be a great tool to be able to have at the system admin role in NWEA. It would help me to be able to troubleshoot an issue faster for a teacher who is struggling.

  19. How about letting us download the "Test Events By Status" report even after the term has ended? Right now, we're stuck downloading on the last day of the term. Even worse,if there are tests on the last day or the day before the term window closes, they don't show up in the report. It's a bit of a hassle, right?

    This tweak would make tracking student progress easier and help us better tally the number of tests taken.

    Please keeps the data accessible even after the term's done.

    Just a suggestion for making NWEA MAP even more user-friendly.

  20. The quick search option for students is important for campus and district-level employees who need to look at data, so they do not have to drill down through Campus/Grade/Teach/Class.
