  2. Since the Student Growth Summary Report is one of the reports to be discontinued, please consider the replacement - District/School Profile Report - to have the same historical access. At this point, the Student Growth Summary Report creates reports for all the years of our subscription. However, I believe the District/School Profile Report will only cover the past two years of running reports. This is not sufficient for accessing the data that many schools might need/require.

  3. We would love to see NWEA MAP create a true progress monitoring tool that can be used between the benchmark testing windows. A shorter assessment that will report RIT, PR, and ROI - all within the same platform - would be outstanding. This would support additional data gathering for students receiving supports: MTSS/RTI, IEP, and EL.

  4. There are at times, when a teacher reaches out and can't find a student or is having an issue with a test session. I have another program that we use for assessing students and at the highest of roles, I have the ability to become that user to see what they are seeing. That would be a great tool to be able to have at the system admin role in NWEA. It would help me to be able to troubleshoot an issue faster for a teacher who is struggling.

  5. I would like for the State Solutions App to be in the Apple App Store. As a school tech we get our computers ready for the next year during the summer. And if this app gets updated just as school starts its a pain to remove it from all of our devices. Then install the new version.
    If the app was in the App Store it would be easier to update the app without having to remove the old one before installing the new.

  6. I understand that NWEA uses adaptive testing for the question pool. But I was wondering if a program could be designed to pool some questions to a server or workstation, and then the student could still retrieve new questions from the local pool. And then if new content is required the program could do a periodic sync to NWEA. This would be helpful for load balancing on our network.

  7. We use the Screener in between the Growth testing (BOY, MOY, EOY) to track data. The screener is only 20 questions in math and ELA. There is only 1 report that I can find to view the data. I have to look at EACH STUDENT one at a time. There should be an easier report to view Screener data and break it down.

  8. It would be nice to have the ability within the class profile report to be able to select more than one class period (secondary) for a specific teacher. So the teacher can determine trends of all of their course level students instead of looking at each individual section of students. This would also be helpful to be able to do within school profile but have the ability to select multiple teachers within the same course to look for trends of all students taking that specific course, regardless of age/grade.

  12. As an experienced teacher who has seen the MAP tests in action for several years, I feel that the test is too long for students. MAP-R especially requires a serious amount of reading stamina for 4th and 5th grade students. I saw that you measure growth in 3 areas on the test. I recommend that you shorten the test to 30 questions (10 questions in each area). This would be a better measure of students reading ability and comprehension because students wouldn't get as tired and just give up.

  13. The format for Kindergarten MAP can be challenging for early learners' attention span, directions need to be clear and consistent by the program. There are way too many buttons to be pressing in all sorts of order, that the students do not understand. Simplify to get better results and true data.

  15. Campus or district staff needs to be able to upload a file for accommodations to verify that the correct accommodations are given to the students. If this cannot happen, admin needs to be able to verify what accommodations are assigned by proctors before testing. Currently, we cannot see that information until the student has already tested. Then, it is too late to correct without retesting students.

  16. Make it possible for parents and students to login and see their data. Allowing batched PDF downloads is not empowering for these stakeholders and creates a ton of work for people in coordinator positions within the schools.

  17. I believe it completely negates the validity of the math MAP test when students at grades 3+ are responsible for reading the math test. As a third grade teacher, I have plenty of students in my class who unfortunately score very low on the math MAP test due to poor reading skills. If we are testing their mathematical ability, we should not be requiring them to read.

    Further, this renders their reports virtually useless because I do not know what was missed due to a mathematical misunderstanding or what was answered incorrectly simply because the child did not know how…

  18. We need a solution for Mobile Device Management on our laptops (MacBooks) We use Mosyle and the App for this blocks the browser as they both 'share' the highest levels of security. Our only solution is to manually delete the Moysle App off every laptop in the school used for testing prior to each testing session. This is time consuming and frustrating. (They do not conflict in iOS for our iPads)

  19. Our students take both Reading and Math in both English and Spanish. On the dashboards, you can see both Reading in English and Spanish. For Math, however, it only shows the higher of the two scores as opposed to showing both scores in both languages. We'd like to see both!

  20. Please don't change the splash page in the middle of the school year. I suspect you got a lot of feedback about the changes to the access page for MAP. I personally find them frustrating because I can't find anything and it just takes me back to the old place eventually, so that means more clicks. Changing it in the middle of the school year is problematic, however. We have documentation we have created in our district for staff to help them find things. When you change even how the page looks, we have to find all of the screen…
