Create additional norming groups. One group using participating independent schools and another group for those who are French American.
Norming data matters. By creating sub-sets/groups, the data can be more precise, thereby supporting certain stakeholders with the dialogues they are having around data. Because the ISEE and SSAT are not using the same test design or norming data, the results are lower than on MAP while these are still standardized tests. This creates confusion and some might perceive MAP norming to be less competitive if they have students moving on to private high schools or to universities because the norms for the ISEE (connected to ERB) and to the SSAT are more demanding (the percentiles don't align between MAP…

Allow school and district proctors to seize control of an active session
Currently, if a session is active, and the teacher or proctor has to leave for any reason during the session. The only way to continue to administer/monitor the session (and resolve potential student issues) is to have the teacher who started the session, end and save it before leaving. Then have the proctor or teacher who is replacing the teacher login to their account and resume the session. This is costly when time is limited, and interrupts a test in progress. It would be very helpful if district and school proctors could simply login, find the session in progress, and…

Skill Data
I would like to have a report where I can see, at a class level, what skills overall my students are struggling with. Not just specific topics, such as Geometry, but rather the specific geometry skill.

Make available a bank of DEMO Data
Have a bank of DEMO Data that consists of all subjects that can be used during summer PD for teachers when school district data is not available. That way teachers can get in and get hands-on with actual data to see which reports will be most beneficial for driving both Tier 1 and small group instruction in their classrooms. Just watching videos on the NWEA website, or looking at pictures of the different kinds of reports, is not enough for teachers to get good at using the multitude of ways that NWEA can be of use to them in their…

kindergarten answer boxes on math map
Kindergarten students may answer a math computation problem and when they have to tap and touch the number into the answer spot, it taps into the wrong place value column because the answer box is divided into ones and tens. Kindergarten is still in the early stages of understanding place value and should not have that count against them, as the main goal is that they understood the operation. The answer box should be developed with that in mind.

Add goal descriptors to family report
Since the student progress report is no longer going to be available, could goal descriptors be added the to family report? (i.e. adding low, low/avg, average, high/avg, high to that report and where the student scores/falls in each area)

Please Bring Back Old Growth Continuum!
The old growth continuum put student names next to standard/skill areas. The new report doesn't. Without student names, this report is a hassle for our elementary teachers, who have to look up scores for 20 students in every skill area. For our middle school teachers, who each have about 150 students, the report is simply useless. They can not cross-reference 150 student scores for every sub-skill every time they are preparing a new unit!

Printable whole grade report with student scores in the School Profile report
Our school uses the grade report regularly to review our data all at once. I see that the School Profile report is soon to replace the Grade Report, but I haven't found a way to list all of our student's scores and subscores in a printable list in the School Profile report. The School Profile report is not a good replacement for the Grade Report for us. Is there a way to add a view to see all of the students' scores and make it printable?

Your new home page is terrible
Was the idea to add both marketing garbage and more clicks to get to the things we actually want? If so, bravo.
Admin like me want the admin/management page. Teachers want the reporting page. The only people who want "product news and updates" to be the first thing we see is your marketing team.
Get rid of it, or at least give us the option of setting our home page.

Downloadable
Downloadable Learning Continuum Report based on selected RIT Range. The challenge of the past version of the LC classroom report was the length. If we could select rit ranges through the sub goals we could provide teachers and content specialists with customized small group learning objectives for tutoring/intervention.

When students time out...
When students time out, their names are no longer in the class list to log back in. The proctor must suspend them and then set them to "test again" after which they have to reboot and then log in again. THIS IS a software bug. The work around I have described is "solving" something that the developers should fix. Student names can be repopulated if the software is changed. Every teacher in every school encounters this problem and has for the past 17 years I have administered this test.

Batch Printing
We electronically report our student's results. It is not only time consuming, but completely unmanageable to select every tested teacher, download their results, and then merge the PDF for our system. Please allow full district Batch Printing.

Terminate Test Warning Box- Different Color
I've had a few schools reach out and let me know that they accidentally terminated a test. One thing that I think would be helpful was if the "Are You Sure You Want to Terminate" box was a different color/looked different/etc than the "Are You Sure You Want to Suspend" box. I think a lot of people aren't reading the entire box and are assuming they are on the Suspend button instead of the Terminate button.

Getting Kicked off the Test
They should not get kicked off the test because they are a slower reader (there should be no time limit). I was informed they give them plenty of time before they kick them off. Whatever that limit is, it is not enough. I watched two students scrolling through and reading it and both got kicked off. It is not enough time. There should be no time limit at all. If there is, then it is a timed test. I was told MAP is not a timed test.

Instructional Area Performances on School Profile
Right now all you can see is an achievement breakdown of the overall test. I would like to be able to see instructional area performances for the whole school by grade level.
For example, I want to see which area (informational, literary, or vocabulary) has the lowest achievement for all of 8th grade in my school.

Session Information
I would like to export information about the session.
A student may be in several sessions, but when finishing the test, I want to know which session they finished in, and who was the teacher who owned the session when the student finished.
I may suspect that the performance of students in the same grade, same school, is different depending on who owns the session. Ideally, everyone should behave the same way, but in practice this may not happen, and I want to identify teachers who students, for some reason, take too long to complete the test, for example, so…1 vote -
Please bring the quick search option into the new interface.
The quick search option for students is important for campus and district-level employees who need to look at data, so they do not have to drill down through Campus/Grade/Teach/Class.

Progress Monitoring
We would love to see NWEA MAP create a true progress monitoring tool that can be used between the benchmark testing windows. A shorter assessment that will report RIT, PR, and ROI - all within the same platform - would be outstanding. This would support additional data gathering for students receiving supports: MTSS/RTI, IEP, and EL.
