Intervention Schedule
NWEA in schools could be improved by implementing a system that automatically groups students into centers based on their specific needs within a given topic. By analyzing assessment data, NWEA could place students who need reinforcement in a particular skill together, allowing teachers to provide more targeted instruction. This would make small-group instruction more effective, ensuring that students receive the support they need while working alongside peers at a similar level. Additionally, this approach would help teachers differentiate instruction more efficiently, reducing the time spent manually grouping students and allowing for a more seamless learning experience.
Another valuable addition would…

Remove accessibility warning from MAP screening tests
With the recent removal of the standard version of the MAP screening tests leaving only the accessible versions of the MAP screening tests, the pop-up warning that you have selected an accessible version of the screening tests that tells you to make sure you have chosen the correct version is misleading and causes proctors to question their choice when there is no longer any other version to select. Can that message be removed?

District Reports- FILTER
As a district level user of the NWEA reports, I want to be able to filter the grade levels of the "District Profile" and "Student Summary" reports to only include our Elementary Data. I am the assistant director of Elementary Schools. So, when I pull data, I am not necessarily as concerned with the data for grades 6-9. It makes it difficult to view these overarching reports if i can't filter on specific grade levels. The Middle School Assistant Director would agree. When she views District Level Data, she doesn't need K-5.

Age appropriate videos
Have videos with older students. High Schoolers, especially ones who are already embarrassed, are insulted by the childish videos, and that most of the test takers appear to be eight.

Goal Setting
It takes a lot of time to click "set goal" for each student. It was previously fixed so that when you clicked it for one student, it automatically set them for the rest of the students in the class. This has been a step backward! Honestly, there shouldn't be a need to click "set goal". We trust the algorithm of the program, just set them!

Standard error
It would great if, on the "Test Event History" page we had a short statement about the cutoff "Standard Error Score" that wold invalidate a student's test.
Also, if we could have a statement that shared there was an invalid score on a stdent profile page that would be helpful.
I manage the MAP test for a large district (40K+ students) and a school reached out today saying "We know he completed his test - we saw him do it. Now we don't see a score. What's going on?" Somehow marking a test event as invalid and at least a…

Additional SSO Options (OIDC with SCIM)
NWEA needs to build additional integrations for authentication and user provisioning into NWEA MAP Growth. Currently the only two options for SSO are Clever and Classlink. However a system with as sensitive of data as NWEA, there needs to be configuration for a fully fledged IdP such as Okta. Ideally this configuration would be via OIDC and also support user provisioning via SCIM. Currently all user account creation is managed manually, which can leave behind stale user accounts that pose security risks. Further, there is no native way within NWEA's user management portal to enforce MFA. If NWEA were to…

Touch Screens
On the Early Skills Screener - allow students to click an answer and then click the answer box where they want to place it. This would eliminate us having to add an external mouse to devices that we've already spent a considerable amount on.

Instructional Area Grouping Report messy for sharing/printing
I am trying to get ONLY the "Students Grouped by Instructional Areas" portion on a nice clean PDF. The only option is to print PDF at the top right of ALL of the class data, and if you see my attached screenshot, it cuts off all of the data or splits it between two pages. How do you recommend only getting this report separately in a nice clean PDF including all of the data?

kiosk
The requirement for Kiosk mode on chromebooks seems excessive. With a large number of students, paying a monthly fee for kiosk mode on top of the NWEA fee adds up to quite a lot for something that is only used 2-3x per year.

Testing trial
Every year in the Fall when we go to start our test session the NWEA site doesn't work. This is frustrating at our Elementary level for many reasons. One reason is that there is a lot of planning that goes into our day and mentally preparing some of our students who may have test anxiety. So my suggestion to solve this issue is to have practice sessions on the NWEA end to make sure all the bugs are worked out prior to August 15th. This will definitely alleviate the stress on all of us on the educator side and I…

Student Couldn't Input Incorrect Fraction Response
I had two separate students who wanted to enter a fraction as their answer, which was incorrect but what they believed to be correct. However, the text box wouldn't allow them to enter 2/6 (as an example). It seemed to only accept whole numbers. There didn't seem to button to change the format entry to a fraction or mixed number box.
Students should be able to enter the response they believe to be correct, so all entry options should be accepted.2 votes -

Custom Windows Per Building PER assessment (MTH, READING, SCI)
I love the new option of setting up custom windows for my individual buildings based on weeks of instruction.
One additional option I wish it had was to also allow us to choose individual custom windows for each test. Example: custom window for Reading and custom window for Math all within one building (also within the district testing window range). Thank you for your consideration.2 votes -
Drill down ability in Class Profile
When viewing the online vefrsio of the Class Profile report would like to have the ability to drill down directly from the Achievement %tiles area of the report. Click on the 61-80% grouping and see just those students. This would avoid having to scroll down past the Students Grouped by RIT Band and then sort the %tile in the Test Details by Students group.

Include Student name in Data Export Scheduler
The District uses MAP data extensively for a range of decisions. The data is more easily managed and sorted in Excel/CSV exports. It would be beneficial if all reports could be exported into Excel/CSV files. Opening the.txt file in Excel requires extra steps to format and/or copy and paste the needed data. Also, the Data Export Scheduler would be more useful if it included Student Names and Student Grade Level.

data meeting with MAP growth
I would love to see a video with an administrator or coach actually doing a data meeting with teachers on their MAP Growth data. What does the conversation look like? What reports do they discuss? How do they connect it to their instruction?

MAP Testing for Social Studies 8th grade
There should be an option to test students and social studies, especially in Texas. Students are expected to know and learn 8th grade U.S. History for STAAR and it would be helpful to see them exposed to content in 6th-7th grade and to see if they have academically grown.

creating a CSV file for additional reports
We use the percentile ranking for several things at our school. If the information in the school profile could be downloaded in a CSV file that would be very helpful. We need to be able to sort the information. If the grade breakdown report included the percentile it would have everything we need.
