  1. A way to set the accommodation for a child and have it follow them with each test. Not set it every single time they log in for a testing. For example: I set Sage up for text to speech. Save it and the next time she logs in, I dont have to assign or log in to set it again. One time and be done. This would really help the support team and keep it consistent between testers and any one that is setting up the test.

  2. Paper/pencil learning has research to show best practice and best educational outcomes. Therefore paper/pencil testing should follow suit. Please create paper/pencil options for districts who value research-backed tools.

  3. The exact RIT score for Instructional Areas should be available in the Grade Breakdown report rather than a RIT range. Currently, the only way to get exact student data is to download repeatedly from the Class Profile report which is not possible when examining data and determining MTSS placement at the school or district level.

  4. I'd like to see a CREATE A REPORT function to be able to add various data elements to a report. Specifically, I do not see a report that will include the student score, percentile, gender, race, etc. all in one place.

  5. When completing a MAP assessment, early learners are often still developing foundational digital interaction skills, including the use of iPads, touch interfaces, or mouse-based navigation. Requiring multiple interaction modalities to answer questions can introduce unnecessary user-interface complexity and cognitive load.

From a usability and assessment-validity perspective, limiting response interactions to a single, consistent mechanic—such as drag-and-drop—would reduce confusion related to interface operation. For example, when a learner clicks on an answer and does not understand why it is not moving or responding as expected, the resulting difficulty reflects challenges with the interface design rather than the learner’s cognitive understanding of…

  6. When sharing family reports, we would love if the chart showing RIT scores over each test window also include the color bands that we can see in the Student Profile pages. These color bands are helpful for at-a-glance proficiency recognition, and also now play a part in our school's Direct Admissions program. Given that this is already available in the Student Profile page, I hope that it's not too big of an ask to have that integrated into the family report as well.

  7. It is vital that you get on board with Google Workspace Marketplace and Samsung Tablet Play Store. Many schools do not use iPads and are a chromebook & Tablet school. Please get your items into these areas.

  8. Maintain the Term Rostering for students who have test events, even if they unenroll before the end of the testing window.

Now, if a student is removed from the Clever roster, the entire enrollment term in progress is removed for that student. This happens regardless of whether the student has test events in the window or when in the window they exited the school. That means meaningful test data is excluded from class reports and school profile reports.

  9. Create a way for System Admin to search for the test session where a student is actively testing. Occasionally students may end up testing in two different rooms on the same day. If the first teacher fails to close their test session, students are unable to login to their second test. It would be helpful to be able to search by student to find out if they are active in a Test Session and that Test Session Name.

  10. Disaggregating data for independent schools so they can more accurately report data to their families. This data can then be used in the application process, replace the usage of ERBs, and become the de facto test for independent schools. The current limitations for reporting makes it very difficult.

  11. Dear NWEA Team,

I would like to know how I can find out my Instructors Login Session details(Date\Time) into their MAP accounts.

Being the School MAP Administrator, using the dashboard I would like to see my teachers using their accounts to generate/view reports of their respective students\class.

Which I have checked with your Chat support, and they have acknowledge that this is a great idea, which doesn't exist in the current MAP system.

Hope to have this incorporated, in order to have administrator manage these tasks.

  13. Please change the wording to avoid confusion from:
"Common fix, try: Ctrl+Shift+0 and Refresh"

    to

"Common fix, try: Ctrl+Shift+0 then Refresh"

I have students and teachers coming to me every testing season, and this could be avoided by changing one word.

It does not have to be exactly this, just something to convey the message that you don't press Refresh at the same time as Ctrl+Shift+0

And perhaps add in "(zero)", because I have students reading it as "O"

  14. You need to have the ability to have two distinct windows within a term. We have one testing window for Elementary and Middle and another for the high schools. Since there is only one window, it is lengthy enough to encompass both. However, in order to get a Projected Proficiency report, student growth summary report, and the district summary report, the window has to be closed. If I close the window, then the high schools cannot test. If I close the window to generate reports, and then open it again for high schools to test, the reports are no longer…

  15. The randomly generated session name included the word "edger" which is an inappropriate slang term. It caused some mayhem when I posted it as I had misread it as being "edgar" and didn't catch it in time. I recommend removing this word from the generation options to avoid this in the future.

  16. We have many classes with a primary teacher and a special education or english learner co-teacher. It would be great if both teachers could simultaneously monitor the same test session that the primary teacher has created without having to give one of the teachers district proctor access.
We currently roster so that both teachers have access to the class within NWEA but with current functionalities only one teacher can see active test sessions at a time without having to suspend a test and start it again in another teachers session.

  20. In the student report, I can click on "Literary Text" and see skills ("analyze point of view" or "analyze characterization" for example) the individual student is ready to develop versus those that need reinforcement or development. I'd like to see something similar in class reports, grade level reports, and district level reports, disaggregated reading skills data from rather than just the RIT scores in Literary Texts, Informational Texts, and Vocabulary.

This report would be helpful for teachers to see where their class' overall weaknesses are, for grade level PLC teams, and for coaches and specialists. To get this kind of…
