Test results emailed to parents from NWEA.
Is there a way to send out test results directly from NWEA. ILEARN has this option as a family access page and they just log in and are able to see results. This would save paper and man power for the teachers or office staff

class/grade
In the student report, I can click on "Literary Text" and see skills ("analyze point of view" or "analyze characterization" for example) the individual student is ready to develop versus those that need reinforcement or development. I'd like to see something similar in class reports, grade level reports, and district level reports, disaggregated reading skills data from rather than just the RIT scores in Literary Texts, Informational Texts, and Vocabulary.
This report would be helpful for teachers to see where their class' overall weaknesses are, for grade level PLC teams, and for coaches and specialists. To get this kind of…

Skills Checklists
For the Skills Checklists, we need a way to bulk print individual reports for students. At my school, we did 5 different reading skills tests for 24 kindergarteners. We had to search for each test for each child individually in order to print it, and this was very time consuming. It would be nice if these skills tests could show up under the student profile with an option to print a summary of these tests with their growth tests.

student profile
For MAP Growth tests, I want a file that lists all of the Learning Statements for each student after they have taken the assessment. Right now, I have to go into each individual student to pull up their Student Profile to find this information. I want it available as a district .csv so that I may extract the individual statements for specific groups of students.

data from hovering over tests
In the past, you could hover over each testing date on the progress graph and see information about that specific test. Could that feature return? It was so very helpful and we are really missing it.

Stacked English AND Spanish Math MAP Test (emergent bilingual students)
I love that the MAP Growth tests are offered in both English and Spanish. However, we are noticing a consistent issue in scores from newcomer students (those here between 1-3 years).
When they first come and take the test in Spanish, the scores are fairly accurate to what they are demonstrating in class. However, after that, all future learning is done primarily in English. If we continue testing in Spanish, they show minimal growth because they don't always know the vocabulary in their L1 (native language) and are unable to accurately demonstrate these new concepts on a Spanish test. Yet,…

Remove screen resolution restrictions
The screen resolution restrictions on the NWEA testing app causes more issues for little to no reason. Screen resolution and txt DPI often need to be changed to support a students needs. We continue to get errors with this screen resolution requirement. We are looking for a version on the NWEA secure browser that does not have this restriction.

We need a linking study to STAAR for 2nd grade bilingual students
A linking study to STAAR for our 2nd grade bilingual students needs to be available like it is for the monolingual students in 2nd grade.

K-2 measurement and data questions
For the K-2 measurement and data questions, we've noticed so many questions geared towards entering the times for a digital clock, and very few questions around measuring length or reading a graph. The digital clock questions also are tricky formatting wise (for example, if the time is four thirty, students need to know to put the 4 immediately to the left of the colon and not in the first blank space). I think it would be a more accurate reflection of measurement and data abilities to include more measuring length and reading data questions in this section of the test…

Chemistry
MAP Growth science assessments provide a valuable overview of student performance in Life Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. However, as our high school chemistry curriculum becomes increasingly rigorous and specialized, we believe that a Chemistry-focused MAP test would offer more targeted insights into student understanding, readiness, and growth in this subject area.
A Chemistry-specific assessment could help:
-Provide data directly aligned with high school chemistry standards and learning objectives.
-Identify gaps in prerequisite knowledge that may affect student success in advanced science courses.
-Support teachers with precise instructional planning and interventions tailored to chemistry content.1 vote -
Include growth norms and plots for Grade 11 Science even if sample size is smaller & confidence intervals are larger than for other subjects
Presently, Science Growth plots stop at Grade 10. Yet, high school science education continues, and exit exams offered by many states and districts come at the end of Grade 11. Science Growth & Achievement data through at least Grade 11 would be extremely valuable, even if national sample sizes are relatively small -- they're large enough to generate means and confidence intervals.

Improve Email Security from Your Domains
Currently NWEA does not have SFP records for its domains. This allows any SMTP server to say they are from NWEA when they are not. SFP records state to the world which SMPT servers are allowed to email on your behalf. Currently the entire world is able to email on your behalf because you don't have SFP records defined in your domain. I can not whitelist any domain to be allowed into our network if anyone can spoof who it is coming from. Please add needed SFP records to all you domains so we can trust emails are coming from…

Add or remove available tests for a school within a district
Allow tests to be added or removed from a school within a district rather than only district-wide.
If I have an Elementary School, I want them to have access to different tests than a high school or middle school or even a summer school, where we may just use screening tests.
Having to scroll through every test makes it more stressful, with a higher likelihood of mistakes.

Please include the amount of time tested on the Achievement Status & Growth Summary with Quadrant Chart
Please include the amount of time tested on the Achievement Status & Growth Summary with Quadrant Chart. It is very helpful for the teachers to have this information as they try to encourage their students to take more time on future tests.

Potential Cheating Indicators
Since AI misuse has become prevalent, NWEA should develop "indicators" to flag test results for potential cheating behaviors. Districts could investigate to confirm or refute flagged scores.

Testing device identification
It would be helpful if the test proctor screen could identify how a student was accessing the MAP assessment. We have students that are finding ways to cheat by either logging into Chromebooks and then going to NWEA, but able to switch screens, or possibly using a different operating system to bypass our safeguards.

Update the app
The app is outdated in comparison to all the educational apps we have on the IPADS these days. We have had so many issues with students not being able to slide words or numbers, but click to get the dots in order to move. It needs to be updated. It's not user friendly, we actually had a student who had to click down to get the right answer, move words to match in the click down and way too many steps. Gotta find a better way.
