Enable Downloading of Test Events By Status Beyond the Term Window
How about letting us download the "Test Events By Status" report even after the term has ended? Right now, we're stuck downloading on the last day of the term. Even worse,if there are tests on the last day or the day before the term window closes, they don't show up in the report. It's a bit of a hassle, right?
This tweak would make tracking student progress easier and help us better tally the number of tests taken.
Please keeps the data accessible even after the term's done.
Just a suggestion for making NWEA MAP even more user-friendly.

Stop Scrunching the Growth Over Time Graph when Printed
The "Growth Over Time" report scrunches when printed as a PDF. It would be nice for students and families to be able to view this graph in the format it displays on a computer screen. I think it could be solved with an option to print the report in Landscape mode.

It would be wonderful if not only teachers could view reports, but so could students.
It would be wonderful if not only teachers could view reports, but so could students. This way, they could go back and recheck growth.

Update to Rosters Import File Requirements
The new update to the rosters import file requirements necessitates that each row have a valid email address associated with it. In theory, this is a good idea. But in practice, it is causing more work for schools/districts who have classes that are not yet assigned to an instructor yet (for example, classes currently being covered by a long-term sub). Previously, we were able to upload the file with "Staff" listed in the instructor column. Now, I am forced to manually change 300+ rows of data to connect each student in these classes to the appropriate instructor account. The previous…

Showing things in multiple ways
We are teaching them that a number and a letter right next to each other means multiplication. For example, image.png, and they have to solve for X. But they way they are writing on MAP is
image.png image.png, meaning times X. It is very confusing to the kids because they already know it's multiplication and we no longer use the X for multiplication because it is a variable. Is there a place for administrators to make suggestions for improvements to the MAP/NWEA testing?? For our kids, it's ilke there is an extra "X" in the problem. (From MS Math teachers)3 votes -
Add more colors for the highlighter tools
Our students did a writing workshop that taught them how to highlight different information using different colors. Example...Setting (yellow), time (blue), action (green), reaction (red), etc. On the STAR test, they do allow different colors for the highlighter. It would be nice if all things were aligned for the students sake.

Estimated percentile for content-specific science tests (life, physical, Earth and space)
DC uses a content-specific MAP test for science (life, physical or Earth and space science) but there is no percentile rank information available for these tests. I can see that physical science content for 8th grade is all mastered by a 260 but a breakdown of what each score means would be very helpful for reporting this information to students and parents. Telling a student they scored 210 is not as powerful as telling them they are in the 50th percentile.

Remove outdated terms "Goal score" and "Goal range" from the screen students see when they complete testing
When students complete testing, they are shown a screen that describes their subscores as "goal scores" and the range as "goal range"-- if this is shared with parents, they assume this means that the student's score should be in the "goal range" when it's just showing how consistently the student answered in the subtopic area.

Having a way for Teachers to view Lexile Score in Reports
At this moment teachers can only pull up Lexile Ranges in their reports. It would be nice to be able to pull the exact Scores as well.

CREATE A REPORT needed
I'd like to see a CREATE A REPORT function to be able to add various data elements to a report. Specifically, I do not see a report that will include the student score, percentile, gender, race, etc. all in one place.

Terminating Tests
We would like the feature where admins are the only ones able to terminate tests. We have had issues this year with staff members terminating instead of suspending tests. This causes the student to have to start the test over.

Instead of assuming students know tales like Cinderella in order to compare it to a different story-include a version of Cinderella for them to actually read.

K-2 answering methods-User interface challenges
When completing a MAP assessment, early learners are often still developing foundational digital interaction skills, including the use of iPads, touch interfaces, or mouse-based navigation. Requiring multiple interaction modalities to answer questions can introduce unnecessary user-interface complexity and cognitive load.
From a usability and assessment-validity perspective, limiting response interactions to a single, consistent mechanic—such as drag-and-drop—would reduce confusion related to interface operation. For example, when a learner clicks on an answer and does not understand why it is not moving or responding as expected, the resulting difficulty reflects challenges with the interface design rather than the learner’s cognitive understanding of…

Include proficiency color bands in family reports
When sharing family reports, we would love if the chart showing RIT scores over each test window also include the color bands that we can see in the Student Profile pages. These color bands are helpful for at-a-glance proficiency recognition, and also now play a part in our school's Direct Admissions program. Given that this is already available in the Student Profile page, I hope that it's not too big of an ask to have that integrated into the family report as well.

Google Workspace
It is vital that you get on board with Google Workspace Marketplace and Samsung Tablet Play Store. Many schools do not use iPads and are a chromebook & Tablet school. Please get your items into these areas.

Special Education
As a special education case manager, it is very tedious to sort through individual teacher's classes to find my student's data. I would love the availability to create a "caseload" where I could claim students as mine to quickly track progress, better inform my small group groupings, improve reteaching instruction, produce reports, etc. Thank you for considering.

Create a way for System Admin to search for the test session where a student is actively testing
Create a way for System Admin to search for the test session where a student is actively testing. Occasionally students may end up testing in two different rooms on the same day. If the first teacher fails to close their test session, students are unable to login to their second test. It would be helpful to be able to search by student to find out if they are active in a Test Session and that Test Session Name.

Disaggregating data for independent schools
Disaggregating data for independent schools so they can more accurately report data to their families. This data can then be used in the application process, replace the usage of ERBs, and become the de facto test for independent schools. The current limitations for reporting makes it very difficult.
