  1. Put a link to download the Roster Template on the Import screen. It used to be on the old Home screen and your help page still sends me to the home screen -- but the new one where the template is not located! (at least I can't find it easily)

  2. I'm reaching out to emphasize the critical need for a checkbox feature on the bulk update page. Without it, selecting students for updates is unnecessarily cumbersome and time-consuming.

  3. If you are having issues with native resolution errors in your NWEA testing window, try navigating to: Chrome>Settings>Device>Select the appropriateOU>Select - "Allow users to overwrite predefined display settings (recommended)">Change both "Custom external" and "Custom internal" to 95% or whatever percentage appropriately sizes your window without error.

    You may need to reboot your Chromebook for the settings to update.

  5. Just like NWEA publishes a coherence map between RIT scores and suggested Khan Academy lessons for math, you should do the same for MAP Growth 2-5 Reading.

  8. I want to administer the test to an entire grade level but we have more than 1,100 students, so it is difficult to put them all into a testing session. I want to be able to search for all of 6th grade at a time but can't because I can't search for more than 200 at once. Can you please lift that restriction? Thank you!

  9. Please update the Student Achievement Norms and Student Growth Norms Reference pages to account for COVID Gap and most recent national norms. This resource is crucial to truly analyzing our student data. Our teachers do not feel that norms from 4 years ago is dependable and accurate when analyzing their current data.

  10. Please make it possible to produce growth reports for assessments given within the same period (Fall, Winter or Spring). We are on the quarter system at my school and it would be beneficial to see the results prior to student schedules / teachers changing

  11. The new update to the rosters import file requirements necessitates that each row have a valid email address associated with it. In theory, this is a good idea. But in practice, it is causing more work for schools/districts who have classes that are not yet assigned to an instructor yet (for example, classes currently being covered by a long-term sub). Previously, we were able to upload the file with "Staff" listed in the instructor column. Now, I am forced to manually change 300+ rows of data to connect each student in these classes to the appropriate instructor account. The previous…

  12. From a System Administrator standpoint, it would be great to have an NWEA user activity log to go back to. This way if anything needs attention and investigation as to why it changed or who changed it there is a way to follow up on it. It will also be useful if the activity log can be searched by the role type of the account holders. The activity logs data range could cover the current school year and the year before to allow for change control and case management.

  14. Please... Be consistent about the order you list the Content Goal Areas on different reports. Different reports put them a different order. It would be so helpful if the list was standardized across reports.

  15. The text to speech pronounces environment incorrectly, as it pronounces the second 'n'. Also, it pronounces 20,000 as "20, zero zero zero". You could make the program run a check for whether the text says 3 numbers after a comma, or if there's just a space and 2 other characters. (Idea submitted by a student.)

  16. There needs to be a faster way to assign multiple teachers to the same class. There should be an option within the class to check and assign teachers to that class without doing it term by term, teacher by teacher, one at a time. This is tedious and time-consuming.

  17. I can no longer see the NPR on the Student Profile Report. Previously, on this report, when you would click on an historical test on the graph, you could see the NPR information for that test. I see with an online search that “NWEA has refined its reporting over time to emphasize specific metrics that they believe are most helpful for informing instruction. By moving the percentile rank, they have shifted the focus of the student profile report to a growth-oriented view, rather than a normative comparison.” As a Coordinator of Gifted Services in Ohio, I can only identify a…

For the K-2 measurement and data questions, we've noticed so many questions geared towards entering the times for a digital clock, and very few questions around measuring length or reading a graph. The digital clock questions also are tricky formatting wise (for example, if the time is four thirty, students need to know to put the 4 immediately to the left of the colon and not in the first blank space). I think it would be a more accurate reflection of measurement and data abilities to include more measuring length and reading data questions in this section of the test…

  20. MAP Growth science assessments provide a valuable overview of student performance in Life Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. However, as our high school chemistry curriculum becomes increasingly rigorous and specialized, we believe that a Chemistry-focused MAP test would offer more targeted insights into student understanding, readiness, and growth in this subject area.

    A Chemistry-specific assessment could help:

    -Provide data directly aligned with high school chemistry standards and learning objectives.
    -Identify gaps in prerequisite knowledge that may affect student success in advanced science courses.
    -Support teachers with precise instructional planning and interventions tailored to chemistry content.
