  1. Our students did a writing workshop that taught them how to highlight different information using different colors. Example...Setting (yellow), time (blue), action (green), reaction (red), etc. On the STAR test, they do allow different colors for the highlighter. It would be nice if all things were aligned for the students sake.

  2. DC uses a content-specific MAP test for science (life, physical or Earth and space science) but there is no percentile rank information available for these tests. I can see that physical science content for 8th grade is all mastered by a 260 but a breakdown of what each score means would be very helpful for reporting this information to students and parents. Telling a student they scored 210 is not as powerful as telling them they are in the 50th percentile.

  3. When students complete testing, they are shown a screen that describes their subscores as "goal scores" and the range as "goal range"-- if this is shared with parents, they assume this means that the student's score should be in the "goal range" when it's just showing how consistently the student answered in the subtopic area.

  4. At this moment teachers can only pull up Lexile Ranges in their reports. It would be nice to be able to pull the exact Scores as well.

  6. The family report menu only allows you to print the current term's report even if you select a previous term. If I select Fall 2020-2021, the family report for those students is the most recent term, like Winter 2025. I was given a work around by accessing the family report through the student profile but the other approach should work too. I would also like the ability to print all the family reports for my school at one time instead of only doing a class at a time.

  7. With the recent removal of the standard version of the MAP screening tests leaving only the accessible versions of the MAP screening tests, the pop-up warning that you have selected an accessible version of the screening tests that tells you to make sure you have chosen the correct version is misleading and causes proctors to question their choice when there is no longer any other version to select. Can that message be removed?

  8. Our school uses the Student Progress report to easily see the students data and provide a quick look for our parents. Please do not get rid of this report.

  9. Can the slow down sloth be set up within the MAP test to appear more quickly? We recognize this is a product change but are hoping it can be seriously considered.

    Our team has noticed a critical feature of MAP NWEA is not quite what it could be. There is a "slow down sloth" that appears when students take the MAP test too quickly, randomly clicking through the answers. This was a feature we were excited about when we first moved to NWEA assessments.

    The sloth is a great feature but is too slow to appear and misses many students…

  10. Currently, in order to mitigate the amount of work on the teacher's end the admin is creating the test sessions. The only way to do this without forcing teachers to sift and sort through a ton of test sessions is for the admin to login as each teacher one at a time and create the sessions for them. This is extremely time consuming and takes forever. There needs to be a way for admins to create a session within their own account, and then change the proctor on the session so that a different teacher can go in and run…

  11. As a district level user of the NWEA reports, I want to be able to filter the grade levels of the "District Profile" and "Student Summary" reports to only include our Elementary Data. I am the assistant director of Elementary Schools. So, when I pull data, I am not necessarily as concerned with the data for grades 6-9. It makes it difficult to view these overarching reports if i can't filter on specific grade levels. The Middle School Assistant Director would agree. When she views District Level Data, she doesn't need K-5.

  12. Create a report or dashboard that will provide you with the participation rate for a certain period of time. For example, I want to see the percentage of my students who set for MAP testing within the first week of the window.
    Create a dashboard that will show the percentage of the invalid test, rapid guessing, and test timing.

  14. As a District Test Administrator, I would like a report that shows all students in my district with terminated tests. Students are accidentally terminated and then not able to get into a test session due to our district restriction on the number of tests allowed in a testing window. This data is crucial and it causes frustration on the school side when they are unable to easily test all students. I would have the ability to troubleshoot these issues before they become an obstacle if there was a report showing this status available.

  15. We need the ability to run a class/grade level/school report that shows growth in the instructional areas. It would also be great to have this as a graph in each student profile.

  16. I'd like to be able to set any Rostered;Start term; and End term parameters that I'd like to see for teacher and school growth reports. Particularly, I'd like to be able set for Rostered current year; Start term Spring of previous year, and end term Winter (even fall) of current year.
    Essentially, we want to eliminate motivation for teachers to "sandbag" fall testing to make growth easier to attain by running all of our growth measure back to spring of the previous year.

  17. Have videos with older students. High Schoolers, especially ones who are already embarrassed, are insulted by the childish videos, and that most of the test takers appear to be eight.

  18. It takes a lot of time to click "set goal" for each student. It was previously fixed so that when you clicked it for one student, it automatically set them for the rest of the students in the class. This has been a step backward! Honestly, there shouldn't be a need to click "set goal". We trust the algorithm of the program, just set them!

  19. This format and layout are completely developmentally inappropriate for early childhood education students. I watched time and time again students who were attempting to answer questions correctly but couldn't because they were trying to drag images, words, or numbers. The idea of having to click it just the 'right way' so it is highlighted with a dotted box around it, and then click where to put it is insane. Further, when students were attempting to formulate sight words or sentences, some were trying to put them in order but because they weren't clicking on the exact correct spot on the…

  20. The Growth Over Time section/graph in the Student Profile report should go back farther-we can only see 8 tests (which is less than 3 school years in some cases) this is not enough data over time for a student. This is really the ONLY report that students care about as it shows how they fall in the 5 color bands and this is the only easy place to see this.
