Create state data reports for schools taking MAP Growth
I would love to be able to compare our school's data with other state schools participating in MAP Growth like we are able to do with the PSAT and SAT. We like to have a data point for both state and national averages for comparisons.

Parent Report Additions
After having parent conferences and explaining the decrease in growth and/or achievement, we find ourselves pulling up the student profile at times and using more charts, graphics and data from it to explain the parent report. For example, the test duration would be great to include on the parent report. That, at times, explains why their score dropped. This helps teachers explain this decrease a little better.

Data for students tested outside district test windows
We would love for students who test outside the district testing window to be able to be included in reports. We have students who move in after our initial window who we need to assess due to state requirements. There could be an ** noting that the score was outside the window, but the information is still important.

Please rename the 'Reading 2-5 CA 2010 1.1' and 'Math 2-5 CA 2010 1.1' test
Please rename the 'Reading 2-5 CA 2010 1.1' and 'Math 2-5 CA 2010 1.1' tests to 'Reading 3-5 CA 2010 1.1' and 'Math 3-5 CA 2010 1' respectively. The Grade 2 appears in two tests, which confuses the second grade teachers. Thanks!

Test Start Date for Suspended Tests
When running a report of suspended tests, I'd like to be able to see the date a student started the test. This would help in prioritizing which tests a student should finish first before they expire.

MAP Class Report Data Expansion
Can we please have access to class report data for more than the current and the previous academic year?
This will help teachers access class data for classes taught after students no longer take the MAP tests.

Import students with specific test
It would be super helpful to be able to create test sessions by uploading a CSV, where I can put kid, testing location, and assign the test and upload that information.

Roster upload - Student Middle Initial- System cuts off from char 20 onwards.
When uploading roster, the Student Middle Initial column cannot have more than 20 characters. Would it be possible that the system cuts off anything beyond character 20, instead of me having to cut if off when making the roster?

Clever Sync and Manually Rostering a student
If a school uses Clever Sync for Automatic Rostering, having a checkbox in the student profile for a manually entered student through NWEA that would override the sync of that profile would not be erased on the next sync. Then uncheck the student when ready to have the next sync erase the student. It would be helpful for screening new students before they are active in the school's SIS.

Enable Downloading of Test Events By Status Beyond the Term Window
How about letting us download the "Test Events By Status" report even after the term has ended? Right now, we're stuck downloading on the last day of the term. Even worse,if there are tests on the last day or the day before the term window closes, they don't show up in the report. It's a bit of a hassle, right?
This tweak would make tracking student progress easier and help us better tally the number of tests taken.
Please keeps the data accessible even after the term's done.
Just a suggestion for making NWEA MAP even more user-friendly.

Stop Scrunching the Growth Over Time Graph when Printed
The "Growth Over Time" report scrunches when printed as a PDF. It would be nice for students and families to be able to view this graph in the format it displays on a computer screen. I think it could be solved with an option to print the report in Landscape mode.

It would be wonderful if not only teachers could view reports, but so could students.
It would be wonderful if not only teachers could view reports, but so could students. This way, they could go back and recheck growth.

Better Communication of Technical Issues
Better communication when there are technical issues. Right now the iOS NWEA app doesn't work with iOS 17.x. The NWEA status page still doesn't show this issue. It would also be extremely helpful to get an email when an issue like this comes up. We have a testing window starting next week and we had to spin our wheels trying to troubleshoot this issue.

Showing things in multiple ways
We are teaching them that a number and a letter right next to each other means multiplication. For example, image.png, and they have to solve for X. But they way they are writing on MAP is
image.png image.png, meaning times X. It is very confusing to the kids because they already know it's multiplication and we no longer use the X for multiplication because it is a variable. Is there a place for administrators to make suggestions for improvements to the MAP/NWEA testing?? For our kids, it's ilke there is an extra "X" in the problem. (From MS Math teachers)3 votes -
Add more colors for the highlighter tools
Our students did a writing workshop that taught them how to highlight different information using different colors. Example...Setting (yellow), time (blue), action (green), reaction (red), etc. On the STAR test, they do allow different colors for the highlighter. It would be nice if all things were aligned for the students sake.

Estimated percentile for content-specific science tests (life, physical, Earth and space)
DC uses a content-specific MAP test for science (life, physical or Earth and space science) but there is no percentile rank information available for these tests. I can see that physical science content for 8th grade is all mastered by a 260 but a breakdown of what each score means would be very helpful for reporting this information to students and parents. Telling a student they scored 210 is not as powerful as telling them they are in the 50th percentile.
