Remove Final "Wagging Dog" Page from Growth K-2 Test
We've noticed an issue with the Growth K-2 test. A lot of students think they’re done, but their status shows as “suspended.” They often forget to click the “Next” button when they get to the final reward or wagging dog page, which means the test doesn’t actually finish. As a result, their scores don’t show up in the report.
This makes it hard to tell who’s actually finished the test and who hasn’t, since we can’t tell if they just missed the "Next" button or didn't complete the exam. The page seems unnecessary and just adds confusion. Removing it would…

student profile
For MAP Growth tests, I want a file that lists all of the Learning Statements for each student after they have taken the assessment. Right now, I have to go into each individual student to pull up their Student Profile to find this information. I want it available as a district .csv so that I may extract the individual statements for specific groups of students.

Stacked English AND Spanish Math MAP Test (emergent bilingual students)
I love that the MAP Growth tests are offered in both English and Spanish. However, we are noticing a consistent issue in scores from newcomer students (those here between 1-3 years).
When they first come and take the test in Spanish, the scores are fairly accurate to what they are demonstrating in class. However, after that, all future learning is done primarily in English. If we continue testing in Spanish, they show minimal growth because they don't always know the vocabulary in their L1 (native language) and are unable to accurately demonstrate these new concepts on a Spanish test. Yet,…

Data Report
A report that showed the students percentile of each "topic" tested within the assessment.
For ex: on the k-12 Science test- we want to see how our students did (%) on Earth and Space. This way, we can pull the lowest 20% in a small group. This may be a different group of students with the "Life" science topic of the test. So we would pull another group.3 votes -
Progress monitoring option
It would be nice for our intervention teachers to have an option to progress monitor students on individualized learning plans to ensure students are making adequate progress towards their goals. This may be an option through additional paid platforms, but we only have access to MAPS Growth for the time being.

RIT Reference Chart Updates
The latest RIT Reference Chart Brochure is from 2019. An updated copy with the 2025 norms would be VERY helpful as it is a great visual for new teachers doing MAP testing for the first time along with parents. It gives a great example of where students are currently at.

Bring the NWEA Secure Browser app up to industry standards.
This is more focused feedback than a suggestion, and we hope it's not taken lightly.
The NWEA Secure Browser app on Windows is notoriously worse at handling any kind of network disturbance—interruptions, hiccups, temporary disconnections, you name it—than its ChromeOS counterpart.
We’ve spent countless hours “troubleshooting” issues with NWEA support between the Winter 2024–2025 and Spring 2024–2025 periods, but the word troubleshooting is doing some heavy lifting here. While every person who has assisted us by phone has been polite, professional, and willing to help, it’s clear that NWEA lacks the systems and tools necessary to effectively support large schools…

Terminating a Test should be admin only
Proctors should not be able to administer a test. I have had multiple proctors terminate multiple tests because a student thinks they are not done with a test (forgot they finished with a different teacher a different day), and the teacher gets flustered and terminates the test, thinking they can reset it so the student can be assigned a new test. Please make it much more difficult to terminate a test so this is not accidentally done. Thanks!

Email Notifications for Failed Classlink Roster Import
When a nightly roster data import from Classlink fails to post, generate an email notification to the district administrators making them aware of the failure. I just happened to be in NWEA investigating an unrelated issue and noticed that our nightly sync from Classlink had a "cancelled" status each night for over a month due to a new program code being added by the student information system administrator. I had no idea that new students were not being added to NWEA for all that time. I am told that such notifications happen for Clever districts, but that it isn't set…

Improve manual rostering to include semi-automatic rollovers.
It is currently a very cumbersome process to re-import our setup every term. It should not be difficult to permit rollover from previous terms, and allow individual students to be excluded from the process.

Allow a User Account to Access Multiple Districts
As a consultant who works with multiple charter schools, I currently have to provide a separate email address to each school in order to establish a MAP account to access reports, etc. Please provide an option to assign multiple districts to one email address, then have the user select the district they want to access when they log in. Other sites like Panorama, WASC portal, etc. provide this functionality.

Design Video Explaining Family Report To Families
Please design a video to send to parents along with the family report helping them understand how to interpret their child's report. It would be great if that link can be embedded into the report so that they can access it if reports are sent digitally.

School Profile - grade labels on the quadrant chart
On the school profile quadrant chart, one needs to hover to get the grades to show up. Could they show up automatically so that they are there if we print?

Expand the number of MAC operating systems that can be used for testing
I have been asked to write to you by my technology department to request that you try to expand the range of Mac operating systems that your secure browser will operate on in a given year.
We are a Mac school. From grade 5, our students buy their own Mac. In grades 1 to 4, the school has a bank of Mac computers that are available for classes to use. As a school, we cannot afford to be constantly replacing the Macs that we have in the school. Some of the Macs we use in school are 6 or 7…

Create state data reports for schools taking MAP Growth
I would love to be able to compare our school's data with other state schools participating in MAP Growth like we are able to do with the PSAT and SAT. We like to have a data point for both state and national averages for comparisons.

Parent Report Additions
After having parent conferences and explaining the decrease in growth and/or achievement, we find ourselves pulling up the student profile at times and using more charts, graphics and data from it to explain the parent report. For example, the test duration would be great to include on the parent report. That, at times, explains why their score dropped. This helps teachers explain this decrease a little better.
