Our district looks at the achievement of NWEA math and reading goals for each of the grade levels to set short and long term goals, determine professional development and for discussion during our professional learning communities. If this data is removed it would be nearly impossibly to look at the impact of teaching, curriculum resources, and growth/achievement in specific areas. I know it is possible because it will be on the class profile coming out in June.

  3. Please don't change the splash page in the middle of the school year. I suspect you got a lot of feedback about the changes to the access page for MAP. I personally find them frustrating because I can't find anything and it just takes me back to the old place eventually, so that means more clicks. Changing it in the middle of the school year is problematic, however. We have documentation we have created in our district for staff to help them find things.   6. It would be great to add a column to "students without valid test results" that indicates their progress towards completion. Minimally "not started" vs "suspended", but even better for suspended students would be to indicate what question number they are on, as it would make it easier to budget time for makeups.

  7. Norming data matters. By creating sub-sets/groups, the data can be more precise, thereby supporting certain stakeholders with the dialogues they are having around data. Because the ISEE and SSAT are not using the same test design or norming data, the results are lower than on MAP while these are still standardized tests. This creates confusion and some might perceive MAP norming to be less competitive if they have students moving on to private high schools or to universities because the norms for the ISEE (connected to ERB) and to the SSAT are more demanding (the percentiles don't align between MAP…

  8. I would like to have a report where I can see, at a class level, what skills overall my students are struggling with. Not just specific topics, such as Geometry, but rather the specific geometry skill.

  9. Currently, if a session is active, and the teacher or proctor has to leave for any reason during the session. The only way to continue to administer/monitor the session (and resolve potential student issues) is to have the teacher who started the session, end and save it before leaving. Then have the proctor or teacher who is replacing the teacher login to their account and resume the session. This is costly when time is limited, and interrupts a test in progress.   10. We need an option to export a PDF version of the class profile, school profile, and new district profile reports. Administrators look at current performance and growth and they immediately want to compare it to prior years. We need a way to download the PDF of the reports so that it can be saved for future reference. Also, some district leaders do not log into NWEA to view reports because I share the reports with them. Having the download/export PDF option will assist with the sharing of the information with those leaders.

  12. In the ACHIEVEMENT PERCENTILES area of the Class Profile Report, I think it would be nice if it would tell the students' names rather than just the number of students in that percentile. I am suggesting the capability for the report to specify the students by name (not only number) by clicking on or hovering over the colored bars of the ACHIEVEMENT PERCENTILES graph on the Class Profile Report.

  13. Allow printing of the continuum within the ranges. For example, I have a group within the 180-190 range, I want to make sure I apply these areas to this group. My next group might be in the 190-200 range. When I pull these students, I want to make sure I apply instructional needs appropriate for this level.

  18. Frequently, campus admin. and teachers have an issue, or need step by step instructions despite providing them the directions from the site. An ability to impersonate a campus admin. or teacher would allow district coordinates to provide specific process as well as assist in trouble shooting issues.

  19. Right now all you can see is an achievement breakdown of the overall test. I would like to be able to see instructional area performances for the whole school by grade level.

    For example, I want to see which area (informational, literary, or vocabulary) has the lowest achievement for all of 8th grade in my school.

  20. Our students take both Reading and Math in both English and Spanish. On the dashboards, you can see both Reading in English and Spanish. For Math, however, it only shows the higher of the two scores as opposed to showing both scores in both languages. We'd like to see both!
