export option
Export option to show only the latest scores. Instead of all. Multiple rows in the export file requires manipulation before uploading to other data warehouses.
In our specific case, there were multiple scores in "ProgressMonitoringFoundationalSkillsPhonologicalAwarenessDomainScore" and only 1 score for OralReading WCPM. The rows with the different PA domain scores were empty in the ORWCPM column. And the import overwrote the ORWCPM as blank when it got to that row

What letters and sounds should work on.
For MAP Reading Fluency it would be a great feature if the individual student report showed what letters and sounds the student needs to work on based on how they performed on the benchmark test. Currently, it just shows what level and suggested activates to do with the student.

Progress Monitoring= Only 1 test should be allowed per week
Having students logging in multiple times to progress monitor is a mess. Students should not be able to take the assessment multiple times in one day. It should be auto-assigned a few days later to avoid this.

testing item bank
There needs to be more items in the test bank. Or have 2 test options (i.e pre/post or fall/spring). Our school likes to administer the dyslexia screener twice a year---to have as a pre and post data. This is helpful to see how students are progressing from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. And if the test is exactly the same from kindergarten to 2nd grade, it seems that it would effect the results. ALSO, the dyslexia screener item bank seems to be exactly the same as the benchmarking and progress monitoring pieces....which is also…

Show Growth in Phonics /Word Study
Schools need to be able to see students' growth in Phonics and Word Study. The term summary report shows the percentage of students at each level for Phonics and Word Study. This is helpful. However, we also needs a report that shows whether or not growth is happening in Phonics and Word Study. A report that compares the Phonics/Word Study Levels from BOY to MOY to EOY would be helpful.

Test type on proctor dashboard
Please list which test is in progress on the proctor dashboard. When giving the dyslexia screener only, I had to start a student over. The system then defaulted to Adaptive Oral Reading and I didn't realize it because the test being taken is not listed with the student names for those currently in a test.

Expand to include skills beyond decoding one-syllable words
Expand to include skills beyond decoding one-syllable words so that we can have a better idea of what 2nd and 3rd graders need to work on, and when we look at reports not everyone will be red.

Students Names on Every Page of Individual Report
When printing individual reports for a class it doesn't have the students name on every page. There are several pages that are included in their report. If any of the pages gets separated there's not way to tell who that belong to.

Provide Instructional Recommendations on Students Reports
When printing student reports the Instructional Recommendations are not included on the report. It would be helpful to know when facilitating follow up activities for individuals or groups.

More report options
An option is needed for students who were previously flagged but not this last testing. The report could include the dyslexia characteristics and the explanation that this screener is ongoing.

French Resources
FRENCH TEACHER says - Adding foreign language resources for second language learners (as well as immigrating families) would be a great idea. As things stand today (end of 2023), there are limited resources in/for Spanish. A more full service data management, reporting and skills testing platform would include commonly taught languages (uncommonly taught one too).

Add an enter button before submitting phonics test questions
When students are entering the graphemes to spell a word, they sometimes try out different combinations. When they put in the third grapheme, the system automatically submits the spelling. Could there be a submit button so they can self check their spelling first?

I would love to see the dates students take a monitoring progress right next to their names. It could be very useful to see this report ass
I would like to see a class report with the dates students take a monitor progress. This could help teachers spot students that need to have make-ups right away.
There is currently a report, but we need to look into individual students.2 votes -
Re-do
There are some exercises that students cannot re-do once they click on an answer and realize they made a mistake. Allow for students to change their answer on all or most exercises

Caterpillar should not congratulate kids when they get the answer wrong
Change the testing so that the caterpillar does not congratulate students when they get an answer wrong as this might encourage guessing and clicking without thinking. Perhaps he might say, "Not quite", or "Not this time, try again next time" or he could just not say anything at all

Test Season - Progress Monitoring is auto-assigned
MAP RF auto assigns a benchmark once you cross into a new test season (eg., Spring is on March 1st). Our schools don't want to benchmark test until closer to the end of the school year -- May.
Can we assign the terms? We like auto-assigning (making teachers' lives easier).
Current configuration is adding time to teachers because they have to go back and change the test to progress monitoring.

Visual Tracker on ORF
Include some sort of visual tracker for students to use while they are reading to help them keep their spot. This is available for MAPS Growth Reading, would like to see it available in MAPS fluency as well.
