  1. I think it would be beneficial to show the date of the last progress monitoring test on the dashboard. We have to progress monitor every two weeks and we work as a team to do this. Some students have been overlooked because it shows us the green dot, but not the last date.

  3. Students taking Passages Only are allowed to push the green button during the reading of the passage whenever they want to. At least a minute of reading is required to hand score a passage. It would be helpful if the button couldn't be pushed until after that minute is up. That would give us a better chance of having enough recorded to hand score. Students are pushing it very quickly and recording nothing at all. These students are being monitored but there is no way to do 1-on-1 testing to ensure this doesn't happen.

  4. Is there an option to have a pause button that could be chosen during the test, to ensure that the test saves? I had students stop mid-testing and when they logged back in, it started them over. A pause button could save progress and ensure the student doesn't lose their work.

  5. The typecase a and typecase g can be difficult for students to read if they haven't been exposed to them before. This is not the standard formation of these letters. Are there plans to change the font so that these are no longer typecase in stories/questions students are reading?

  6. MAP Fluency and MAP Dyslexia Screener are both Missouri approved RSP vendors. The issue I am coming across is the testing windows that NWEA has set up does not match the timeline of the testing window that DESE (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) for the state of Missouri. NWEA MAP Fluency Dates are as followed:
    Fall: June-November 30
    Winter: December 1-February 28 (Feb 29 on leap years)
    Spring: March 1-June

    Missouri Guidelines of when we are REQUIRED to administer the MAP Fluency and Dyslexia Screener are the following:
    Fall: grades 1-3 first 30 calendar days of school
    Winter:grade K…

  8. Export option to show only the latest scores. Instead of all. Multiple rows in the export file requires manipulation before uploading to other data warehouses.

    In our specific case, there were multiple scores in "ProgressMonitoringFoundationalSkillsPhonologicalAwarenessDomainScore" and only 1 score for OralReading WCPM. The rows with the different PA domain scores were empty in the ORWCPM column. And the import overwrote the ORWCPM as blank when it got to that row

  9. Currently, the Reading Dyslexia testing requires students to log in using their unique NWEA credentials. Reading Dyslexia is given to our Kindergartners through second grade students. Since NWEA credentials need to be unique across all of NWEA, we have set user names as the email addresses for our students. We use the student first name, dot, last name @ our school district. org. Thus, we have Kindergartners who would need to enter something like: Nicklause.CampbellRichardson@capeelizabethschools.org in order to just start the test. If the kindergartner can type all of that....

  11. For MAP Reading Fluency it would be a great feature if the individual student report showed what letters and sounds the student needs to work on based on how they performed on the benchmark test. Currently, it just shows what level and suggested activates to do with the student.

  12. Create an Excel calculator similar to MG norm calculator. Determine percentiles for domain scores, consider typical growth in domain areas, etc.

  14. Having students logging in multiple times to progress monitor is a mess. Students should not be able to take the assessment multiple times in one day. It should be auto-assigned a few days later to avoid this.

  17. There needs to be more items in the test bank. Or have 2 test options (i.e pre/post or fall/spring). Our school likes to administer the dyslexia screener twice a year---to have as a pre and post data. This is helpful to see how students are progressing from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. And if the test is exactly the same from kindergarten to 2nd grade, it seems that it would effect the results. ALSO, the dyslexia screener item bank seems to be exactly the same as the benchmarking and progress monitoring pieces....which is also…

  18. Schools need to be able to see students' growth in Phonics and Word Study. The term summary report shows the percentage of students at each level for Phonics and Word Study. This is helpful. However, we also needs a report that shows whether or not growth is happening in Phonics and Word Study. A report that compares the Phonics/Word Study Levels from BOY to MOY to EOY would be helpful.

  20. Please list which test is in progress on the proctor dashboard. When giving the dyslexia screener only, I had to start a student over. The system then defaulted to Adaptive Oral Reading and I didn't realize it because the test being taken is not listed with the student names for those currently in a test.
