  2. Please include the amount of time tested on the Achievement Status & Growth Summary with Quadrant Chart. It is very helpful for the teachers to have this information as they try to encourage their students to take more time on future tests.

  3. The system times out immediately while actively working in it. Please create a warning for the time-out. It signed out in the middle of me adding accommodations multiple times which took over an hour each time. There is no automatic save feature built in so it means starting over each time with an already tedious process of entering individual accommodations. Please fix with a warning or an auto save function. Thanks in Advance!

  4. There are font options that promote smoother/more fluent reading for students that have dyslexia. These specific fonts help mitigate the challenges that some students experience when reading.

  5. I should be able to choose the language for the family report to be sent home in the language that the family uses. It is NOT acceptable to print them all in English and send home a sample Spanish report for the parents to look at while they hold their child's report in English.

  6. Reports: Please create a "Roster Status" report where I can look at a class as a whole, see all of their names and their status for all tests at once.
Example: 4th grade, all student names listed down the left and all their assigned tests across the header row, with statuses in every cell (ex: Started, In Progress, Complete)

  7. Please design a video to send to parents along with the family report helping them understand how to interpret their child's report. It would be great if that link can be embedded into the report so that they can access it if reports are sent digitally.

  8. It would be helpful if the test proctor screen could identify how a student was accessing the MAP assessment. We have students that are finding ways to cheat by either logging into Chromebooks and then going to NWEA, but able to switch screens, or possibly using a different operating system to bypass our safeguards.

  9. On the school profile quadrant chart, one needs to hover to get the grades to show up. Could they show up automatically so that they are there if we print?

  10. Add the ASG Quadrant Report to the School Profile Report so that it adds another and more convenient way to look at longitudinal cohort data

  11. It would be AMAZING if the system could sync family reports for individual students to a family email (or a pair of email addresses) to each individual student registered to the test. In other words, if a SYNC could attach 2 family emails to a test taker, then the family report could be emailed to the specific family instead of the school having to print or save 350+ individual PDF results, manually saved, then attached to an email for all 350+ students.

  12. Customize a User Role

I am the District Admin and want my principals to be able to access operational reports, but do not want to make them the school assessment coordinator because I do not want them to be able to manage users.

  13. I am a school psychologist and for many years have used the Student Progress Report with my teams. It is a fantastic tool that allows the team to quickly view and process the student's scores in reading, math and language use over time. Having the %tiles available along with RIT score is extremely valuable. Teams can add this data to other pieces of data and help figure out if a child has skills similar to other students with disabilities or if they may have an attention or anxiety issue at play. Without this quick and easy to interpret data, I…

  14. I have been asked to write to you by my technology department to request that you try to expand the range of Mac operating systems that your secure browser will operate on in a given year.

We are a Mac school. From grade 5, our students buy their own Mac. In grades 1 to 4, the school has a bank of Mac computers that are available for classes to use. As a school, we cannot afford to be constantly replacing the Macs that we have in the school. Some of the Macs we use in school are 6 or 7…

  15. The app is outdated in comparison to all the educational apps we have on the IPADS these days. We have had so many issues with students not being able to slide words or numbers, but click to get the dots in order to move. It needs to be updated. It's not user friendly, we actually had a student who had to click down to get the right answer, move words to match in the click down and way too many steps. Gotta find a better way.

  16. We use the NWEA Web-based MAP Automated Report Services to retrieve data export files and recently moved the scripts to a new linux server. We had some difficulty getting these scripts to run; I think adding some additional instructions may help.

The first issue was retrieving the required Perl packages via the cpanm utility, per the recommendation on https://www.cpan.org/modules/INSTALL.html. That approach yields a failure during the building and testing step for the package WWW:Curl::Easy. To work around this, we used the system package manager to install the curl related dependencies for retrieve_dex.pl:
    sudo dnf update
    sudo dnf install perl-WWW-Curl

  18. With the recent removal of the standard version of the MAP screening tests leaving only the accessible versions of the MAP screening tests, the pop-up warning that you have selected an accessible version of the screening tests that tells you to make sure you have chosen the correct version is misleading and causes proctors to question their choice when there is no longer any other version to select. Can that message be removed?

  19. With the retirement of the student progress report next year, we need the ability to run the other reports, such as student profile and family report, in batch at the school or grade level. Currently, both those reports require you to drill down to the teacher and class. From there you can run a batch file for an entire class. However, we need the ability to run reports in bulk by school or at the least by grade level. It would be extremely time consuming having to run each report by each class.

  20. Our school currently uses the Grade Report to look at data on a student-by-student basis for the whole grade and determine students in need of Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions. The School Profile Report, which is listed as a replacement for the Grade Report, does not allow you to sort the entire grade alphabetically or by RIT score, regardless of classroom teacher. Additionally, although you can hover and see which students scored in each range, you cannot print that information, or get the detailed information about student scores in specific instructional areas for all of the students in the…
