  1. Currently, the only way to see who has not tested is to give the School Assessment Coordinator role. We don't like to give this role to buildings because of the ability to edit student data among other things. It would be great to give the Admin the ability to see the students with out valid tests report.

  2. It would be helpful if we could download projected growth for students following a term of testing. For example, there is a column for Fall-to-Winter Projected Growth column in the Combined Data Export, but it is only populated in the Winter when there is actual growth. Having this projected growth goal in this report in the Fall would allow teachers to provide information to students to support goal-setting and action planning. While this data is available in the Student Profile Report, that requires either calling each student up 1 by 1, or printing multiple pages per student, instead of being…

  3. Include some way for us to see the specific students whose tests have been terminated. One Idea would be to include a notation in the "Students Without Valid Test Results" operational report.
Rationale: We only allow 1 test per window so if a teacher does not want a student's results to "count against them," all the teacher needs to do is terminate the test and keep quiet. This is because without this feature in a large district there is no feasible way for me to ensure that all students have truly been given the opportunity to take the MAP Growth…

  4. I am looking for a report (exportable spreadsheet data) that would give me current students math and reading RIT scores for fall 2024, spring 2024, winter 2023, fall 2023, etc. but that also includes the homebase teacher's name (or first block, 2nd block, etc.) as a column in the data. The only way I've been able to get close is by running a Map Growth Class Report and exporting the class report. But that means I must run the report for each teacher x 2 subjects. It adds up.
The Grade Breakdown report doesn't seem to include the homeroom teacher.

  5. I would like to have an option to able to modify the term data that is shown in the student profile report and the family report and only show data from one term to another and not all 3. i.e. fall to winter or winter to spring NOT Fall, Winter & Spring

  6. When we use Clever for rostering, it gives teachers the Instructor role, but not the School Proctor role. Therefore, they are not able to administer testing. This is very tedious to manually add this role for every teacher. Please add School Proctor for all Instructors automatically.

  7. Have a bank of DEMO Data that consists of all subjects that can be used during summer PD for teachers when school district data is not available. That way teachers can get in and get hands-on with actual data to see which reports will be most beneficial for driving both Tier 1 and small group instruction in their classrooms. Just watching videos on the NWEA website, or looking at pictures of the different kinds of reports, is not enough for teachers to get good at using the multitude of ways that NWEA can be of use to them in their…

  8. We use MAP Screening tests frequently which is a useful tool to quickly measure student performance. We can share the Screening results for the individual family according to the student progress report with the parents (which is the only student-level report for Screening), it is helpful for us to get better communication with our PTA.

Please don't discontinue the student progress report available, the report is supper clear and easy to read for the parents. If this cannot be done, please work the screening testing option into a new student-level report.

  9. The quick search option for students is important for campus and district-level employees who need to look at data, so they do not have to drill down through Campus/Grade/Teach/Class.

  10. We use the Screener in between the Growth testing (BOY, MOY, EOY) to track data. The screener is only 20 questions in math and ELA. There is only 1 report that I can find to view the data. I have to look at EACH STUDENT one at a time. There should be an easier report to view Screener data and break it down.

  11. Our teachers LOVE the ASG. The love the original report (they call it the sticky notes). We also love the new school and class reports. However We are missing a report that plots each individual student in the entire grade level on the quadrant chart. This would really help planning grade level interventions, tutoring, enrichment, etc.

  12. They should not get kicked off the test because they are a slower reader (there should be no time limit). I was informed they give them plenty of time before they kick them off. Whatever that limit is, it is not enough. I watched two students scrolling through and reading it and both got kicked off. It is not enough time. There should be no time limit at all. If there is, then it is a timed test. I was told MAP is not a timed test.

  15. When setting up a test session, TTS should be automatically assigned to those students who have it as an identified need on an IEP, 504 or ELL plan. TTS should be connected to a student account and not a Test Session.

  16. In "School Profile" under "Growth and Achievement" it would be very useful to be able to compare 2 consecutive testing sessions. We have run across an issue with potential cheating and we cannot run a progress/growth report between Spring 2023 and Fall 2023.

We can run Fall to Fall, but then the growth numbers take into account several testing sessions and we cannot identify easily the students that only grew rapidly on this last testing session. It is possible to see a student growth of 30 points over a fall-to-fall period, but we are seeing that from spring to fall.…

  17. The 2+ “What’s This Test About” video is a too young for our middle & high school students. The info is great but geared toward elementary students and is outdated. Please update with fresh content geared toward older students. We need a tool that teaches our students about the assessment AND gets them motivated to take the test.

  19. The article "What is the linking study and where can I find it?" When you click on this link, it gives the incorrect steps to locate .

    It says:
    Nwea.org
    solutions
then select your state from the menu.

It is missing the step where you select approvals by state.
This made it very difficult to find the linking study without support.
Why are the links not placed in the reports, as in previous years?
This would be more user friendly for teachers and districts to access.
