  1. It would be great to have the ability to turn on the text-to-speech accommodation (and select from the current configuration options for text-to-speech) for all schools/sessions/students. As some state assessments move to offering text-to-speech as a universal accommodation, it would be helpful to be able to standardize this for MAP Growth as well. Asking individual proctors to turn on the accommodation leaves room for people to forget and leads to an inconsistent testing experience for students. Having a district/schoolwide option would be very helpful.

  2. Rather than not answering your phone or chat when there is a known testing issue, why don't you post a message on the website. Better yet, you could email local administrators. I had better things to do today than be on hold for 30+ minutes. PS I never received a call back, as promised multiple times.

  3. I would like to have a report that groups students based on their readiness to learn a new topic in the continuum. This would allow me to call a group of students in and teach them all a specific topic that they are all either behind or ahead of the general class.

  4. There are font options that promote smoother/more fluent reading for students that have dyslexia. These specific fonts help mitigate the challenges that some students experience when reading.

  5. Partner Requests:

    Class Profile
English and Spanish Tests for Reading side by side rather than toggling back and forth.

    School Profile
A way to sort out specific teachers. Some districts roster with all class periods so all teachers can see the data, so they have to filter through music, p.e., etc. Will there be a way to pull out a list of teachers and generate a report?

They want to be able to copy and paste data into their spreadsheeets, but the excel button doesn't seem to work for them (most likely due to incompatibility) and the csv is not…

  6. Reports: Please create a "Roster Status" report where I can look at a class as a whole, see all of their names and their status for all tests at once.
Example: 4th grade, all student names listed down the left and all their assigned tests across the header row, with statuses in every cell (ex: Started, In Progress, Complete)

  7. In the past when running the Achievement Status and Growth Report we had a report option to print this report by sorted by RIT score and no longer can.

I've tried printing the Class Report where I can sort the results but the PDF print is messy and several pages. I've also tried printing the Achievement Status and Growth Report with Quadrants. Again I can sort by RIT Score but the print is messy.

The spreadsheet is hard to read and several of our staff would have difficulty sorting it.

They have to turn in this report to administrators, so…

  9. When assigning tests and accommodations, but a save button at the TOP of the page, with the assign buttons. We are already at the top assigning things. It's an inconvenience to have to scroll to the bottom, especially when you have a lot of kids in the list, just to save.

  10. As Dual Language teachers, we would like to be able to pull reports that show students data in both languages side by side. Since we are developing students' biliteracy skills, we are interested in their progress in both languages and would like to the see the data next to each other to have a holistic picture of their capabilities.

  12. They should not get kicked off the test because they are a slower reader (there should be no time limit). I was informed they give them plenty of time before they kick them off. Whatever that limit is, it is not enough. I watched two students scrolling through and reading it and both got kicked off. It is not enough time. There should be no time limit at all. If there is, then it is a timed test. I was told MAP is not a timed test.

  13. As an experienced teacher who has seen the MAP tests in action for several years, I feel that the test is too long for students. MAP-R especially requires a serious amount of reading stamina for 4th and 5th grade students. I saw that you measure growth in 3 areas on the test. I recommend that you shorten the test to 30 questions (10 questions in each area). This would be a better measure of students reading ability and comprehension because students wouldn't get as tired and just give up.

  14. When setting up a test session, TTS should be automatically assigned to those students who have it as an identified need on an IEP, 504 or ELL plan. TTS should be connected to a student account and not a Test Session.

  15. In "School Profile" under "Growth and Achievement" it would be very useful to be able to compare 2 consecutive testing sessions. We have run across an issue with potential cheating and we cannot run a progress/growth report between Spring 2023 and Fall 2023.

We can run Fall to Fall, but then the growth numbers take into account several testing sessions and we cannot identify easily the students that only grew rapidly on this last testing session. It is possible to see a student growth of 30 points over a fall-to-fall period, but we are seeing that from spring to fall.…

  16. If only the Quad report is going to be moved over to profile reports, the functionality of both the Quad AND the Projection/Summary reports need to be incorporated. Currently the Quad only displays definitive beg.-end. data, while the P/S version displays within academic year beg., but open end for projections. Teachers greatly rely on this information for the growth expectations/achievements overview of their classes, but at the individual student level, as well.

  17. When you run Family Reports right now, the system lets you check or uncheck the option to: "Include students and subjects without test results in the selected term (Not Common)". Even when you leave this UNCHECKED, the system still pulls reports for students who did not test during the test term you selected.

I did reach out to Tech Support about this and they said the report function runs as intended, and that the wording is just confusing.

This wording needs to be changed, or the report needs to be updated to do what it says it does. There are…

  18. Be able to choose Private school Norms to show up in reports in addition to national norms. We are happy to be moving away from ERBs but that was a nice feature to use and families still want that information. I know we can look at the Achievement and Growth Tables for Private Schools but incorporating it into the reporting features would be much appreciated!

  19. We purchased the assessment to use K-12 and were promised secondary course-specific assessments in Spanish, and now that we are giving the assessment, the Spanish does not exist. How do we provide the assessment to our Spanish language students? Or students who speak other languages? This is inequitable!

  20. I would love for students to be able to view their MAP data after taking the test. Students could log into NWEA or Eduphoria aware in order to view their student data report. They could see their scores, reporting categories and be able to set their own goals on MAP! This would allow students to take ownership of their data and learning!
