  1. We need a way to set a goal for students in the program and progress graphs should be standardized to show how far a student is from their goal.

  3. Please allow the 'provide feedback' blue rectangle button to me movable on the right margin. It's right in the way of many clicks needed to get to data or see important data.

  7. In phonological awareness, it says the word speak and asks students to take away the /s/ sound. Students don't know what a peak is so it's not age appropriate. Thanks.

  12. Add the estimated NWEA Growth Reading percentile to the .csv output file for the Dylslexia Screener and Foundational Skills result types, in addition to the Dyslexia and Universal Screen results. This will help schools identify students whose result is close to the flag cut scores.

  13. You need to add a submit button after each question. Many. many times my students accidentally click on the wrong answer because they were using their mouse to read each answer. This happens on all of the tests.

    1. Allow a feature to have an audio recording slowed so the teacher can better hear the student.
    2. Develop a printable copy of the student assessment (oral reading) so that the teacher can see what the software counted as an error.

  15. As a district data administrator, I would like the ability to exclude a test from MAP Reading Fluency like we can with MAP Growth. For times like dyslexia screening, when the wrong students takes the test under the wrong name, I need to be able to remove exclude that test

  16. I think phonics/word recognition progress monitoring needs to have different words each time. Some of my EL students keep missing the same words because they don't know what the word means. However, many times they can read the words.

    A few of the words they get stuck on
    pit (peach pit), mug, toss, drain They can read them but they don't know what they mean.

    I feel like that if they were given different words with the same rime, we would know if it was vocabulary or phonics.

  17. This instrument over-identified our ELL students because on multiple portions of the assessment they had to click every picture to find out what it was before selecting their answer. Our non-ELL students could rapidly identify the pictures and therefore selected more correct answers within the time limit. One way this language bias could be reduced would be to extend the time limit a bit and have every user listen to the computer identifying all the pictures. Without an alteration such as this, MAP Reading Fluency has limited usefulness with ELL students.

  18. Sometimes students are pausing during the reading....to fix headphones, coughing, etc and it is throwing their time off. I wish there was a button when hand scoring to pause their time. A few seconds doesn't tend to make a big difference, but sometimes it ends up being about 30 seconds and then flagging the student.

  19. Under MAP Reading Fluency, students should be able to redo one of the sections instead of having to take the whole test again. We have students that are a no score on RAN, and we just need that part assessed again, not the whole test.
