One way you could improve MAP Reading Fluency is by making sure your website works nationally!
When testing our students this Spring (2026), my colleague and I did it at different times. He did it last week (Thurs/Fri), and I am doing it this week (June 4-5, Thurs/Fri). On both occasions, the test had multiple errors, which resulted in many students not finishing promptly.

Student Data
It is imperative that district administrators are able to recall student information for students who are no longer enrolled in the district. Why is this not avaliable to us, considering that the data point has been captured.

Option to skip the instructions.
On the progress monitoring, you should be able to skip the instructions. For students who test weekly, it is very frustrating to have to hear the instructions every time they test once they already know what to do.

Hand Score Nonsens Words
I called support this week to figure out why all our student's dyslexia screener results include a note to hand score the nonsense words section. Even if a student did very well, it's a hand score. We're not sure where to even find a rubric for this content, and it's an important part of our dyslexia screener. I don't understand why the computer can't score it, and include that in the report.

Oral Reading Fluency NS
I would love to have access to the data and I support lowering the threshold! I’d rather be able to see the real numbers myself and make a decision/form my instruction, rather than only knowing they don’t meet the threshold expected. It would be very helpful being able to see and go through the data for each student, regardless of if they meet our threshold for benchmark or not.

Benchmark Student Review
Benchmark Matrix report being able to click next to switch to the next student instead of exiting out and having to find the next student. More user-friendly for teachers and staff.

Similar to the MAP Growth, Fluency should have embedded accommodations tools.

Let it just be over
When the kids finish the test they want to close the ipad instead of clicking that last blue button then the system doesn't see them as finished. Please fix that. It takes a whole day to see scores then if that isn't caught another whole day.

How is a student that missed every nonsense word working on approaching grade level? This report is not going to help me explain to parents that he is struggling because it looks like he is fine!

We need the option of printing the passages for the younger students who struggle with tracking on such small font on a screen. It is not appropriate for this age.
