  1. Our teachers really value the Phon. Awareness and Phonics subskill raw scores at the bottom of the individual student report (e.g. "Decoding: CVC, 10/11"). It would be amazing for each of those subskill raw scores to also be included in the data export so we can analyze trends in those granular subskills at aggregated levels (class, grade, etc.) beyond just individual by individual. Can fields be added to the data export so we can access those scores for multiple students at once? Thank you.

  2. Take out field test every benchmark. Time is valuable in the classroom. Randomly assign a small group or test it in a different way.

  3. Can you provide a report that shows student score/percentage in domain of phonics. The data provided by Benchmark Matrix is too generic. We need more specific data, e.g., what letters, what sounds, about each individual student especially if they are in the yellow or red. It will help to differenciate instruction and meet their specific needs. The generic - Letters & Sounds - doesn't provide any data that I am not aware of.

  4. We need an individual student report that shows one student's scores from both benchmarks and progress monitoring across multiple terms. Right now, we have to make our own spreadsheets by collecting data from multiple screen views.

  7. It would be great if we could run reports that include both Fall and Winter results. This would help with comparing who continued to be flagged from one administration to another.

  8. When I click the download button to print the passages, it downloads the student reading recording, not the passage. is there a way to print the passage?

  9. Being able to "batch assign" progress monitoring tasks to my tier 3 students would be a time saver. Also, seeing their progress monitoring data as a cohort within a grade level would also be very helpful. Right now I have to sift through all of grade K, 1, 2 to find my individual students' data.

  10. In the rhyming section, the two clues are sun and one, the answer is run. Sun and one don't rhyme. It's very confusing.

  11. It is very hard as an admin side when I pull up the reports and I can't break them down by classes. It is just giving me all the kids at once.

  13. MAP Fluency and MAP Dyslexia Screener are both Missouri approved RSP vendors. The issue I am coming across is the testing windows that NWEA has set up does not match the timeline of the testing window that DESE (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) for the state of Missouri. NWEA MAP Fluency Dates are as followed:
    Fall: June-November 30
    Winter: December 1-February 28 (Feb 29 on leap years)
    Spring: March 1-June

    Missouri Guidelines of when we are REQUIRED to administer the MAP Fluency and Dyslexia Screener are the following:
    Fall: grades 1-3 first 30 calendar days of school
    Winter:grade K…

  14. An option is needed for students who were previously flagged but not this last testing. The report could include the dyslexia characteristics and the explanation that this screener is ongoing.

  15. There are some exercises that students cannot re-do once they click on an answer and realize they made a mistake. Allow for students to change their answer on all or most exercises

  16. Change the testing so that the caterpillar does not congratulate students when they get an answer wrong as this might encourage guessing and clicking without thinking. Perhaps he might say, "Not quite", or "Not this time, try again next time" or he could just not say anything at all

  17. MAP RF auto assigns a benchmark once you cross into a new test season (eg., Spring is on March 1st). Our schools don't want to benchmark test until closer to the end of the school year -- May.

    Can we assign the terms? We like auto-assigning (making teachers' lives easier).

    Current configuration is adding time to teachers because they have to go back and change the test to progress monitoring.

  18. Include some sort of visual tracker for students to use while they are reading to help them keep their spot. This is available for MAPS Growth Reading, would like to see it available in MAPS fluency as well.

  19. Add printable PDF's of Progress Monitoring measures that are completed, to see exactly what students can and can't do. The only way to know what students are doing is to actually watch them test. We want to be able to target skills and without a report/printable PDF that shows the skills they got and didn't get, this is very difficult.

  20. When looking at the "Modify Preferences" tab, there is no indicator that the modifications being made are only being made to MAP Growth. As a school, we wanted to determine testing dates for MAP Fluency and thought we could create our own testing dates. Even in the instructions, there is no mention of MAP Growth vs. MAP Fluency. This would have been exceedingly helpful as we began testing during "our window" and fluency scores weren't available for our "Winter Term" as the default window had not yet begun.
